We are suppose to think Locke tells Walt he couldnt walk before the crash or this island is special. But I think something else was said that will be revealed in the finale.

So your thinking that the MIB was Locke the whole time?
As much as I wish what you think is true I think it was just that. Think of the scene at the time, we weren't really sure what was up with the island and that officially entered the fantsy element to the story. And the MIB crosses off Lockes name as a candidate, he escapes the island.

Unless I'm completely wrong and you think he said something else entirely?
What do you think he said?

Orrrrrr maybe Locke was ploting with the MIB the whole time.....

I dunno cause he can't be the MiB cause hes later killed off the island.

But after that flashback in the cave.....I could see them going back to that conversation with Walt - on a few levels.

Lets assume Locke was MiB for much longer than we think - just to assume.

Why would he want everyone to go back to the Island? Wasn't his whole goal just to get off the darn thing? He did it.

UNLESS, we're still looking at this like the Smoke Monster is MiB. Maybe that's not true at all (see: Last Tuesday's episode). Perhaps, Smokie just took his form and ran with his act because that's what he wanted to do - remember, Smokie ran with Locke's act for a while too before finally telling Ben who he was.

So, Smokie doesn't want to get off the Island. He kinda proved that when he tried to kill Jack and the rest of the gang on the sub. His only way out and he used it to try to kill them.

So whether or not Locke was always Smokie, I think we've learned that Smokie doesn't really care about leaving. He/It has other goals.

I seriously think a lot of this stuff will make sense when Jacob finally talks to the replacement.

The "supposed" reason that Flocke tried to kill everyone in the sub is because he needs them to be dead in order to leave.

yeah, its a fact that Christian was the smoke monster.

Plus now we have children runnin around the island after jacob died.

Haha, just reading these theories on the last two pages has me confused as hell. I'm done analyzing Lost, just gonna sit back and watch the last 3+ hours and hopefully enjoy it.

I agree haha. Last weeks episode was just so confusing in the large scope of the show that I decided a few days after the episode to just wait for the next show.

But why? Those people weren't alive 100 years ago and he didn't leave then.

I'm just not seeing how those people are stopping him from leaving. He hasn't even made a solid attempt. I'm not sure he really desires to leave.

Smokey he has repeatedly said [to Jacob] that he wants to leave. His entire reasoning for wanting to kill Jacob is because Jacob won't let him leave (Ab Aeterno).
