Exactly! I feel like I've invested this much time into it at this point that I at least want to finish out the first season to see if there is at least some kind of payoff. After that though my hands are clean of this monstrosity.A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

I really hope the Flash Forward "Previously On" is at least two-three minutes long. This show is still very good. I don't really like Mark. He gives me this David Caruso feeling every time I watch him react to any kind of information or news. The guy is always shot in profile and he always pushes his eyes toward the opposite side of the screen. It's just weird.
Of course, then you have Dominic Monaghan who is a good actor. It shows on screen, almost instantly that there is a clash in acting for several actors.
Anyway, onto the episode:
We got ourselves a pretty good reveal. Considering we now know that Campos's vision was actually his present, I wonder how many visions we've been led to believe were of the future when they are not.
There also isn't much about this future flash forward that anyone else seems to know but Simcoe. The one man we thought would be responsible for it just died in what was a pretty ok cliffhanger - I really don't care that the guy died so I wasn't emotionally vested in his death. So, how Simcoe knows there will be another one and then relays that information to Mark is pretty much the only thing I care about at this point.

I loved the 2 hour return of the show. The story's still strong which was never a problem of the show in the first place. The increased screen time for Simon though makes the characters that much better as he's a much better actor than Mark or John Cho is.
They should have given him a main role in the show from the start as he's easily the best and most interesting character on the show.
It will be interesting to see how they move further towards finding out who was responsible as presumably the only lead they had is dead now. I guess they could still continue the search for D Gibbons.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
