Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Are you sure? On the droid forums there is talk that so far it is not possible to root the RAZR M unless you have the dev edition.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I think he was just testing you to make sure you do your research before rooting, like everyone should do. But on the real, I think he might have thought you wrote just Razr seeing as how the Razr M came out 6-7 months after the Droid 4 did.
S3 users, what rom are you guys running currently? I'm using CleanRom.
Also, Android guys in general, what keyboards do you guys roll with? I currently use Swype but alternate between that and SwiftKey.[NYK|DAL|VT]

I was always a swype person but I'm giving SwiftKey a try now, just snagged the apk for it.
It's just a regular keyboard replacement or does it do the swype thing too?

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
No swype feature, but the word predictor is second to none as been already posted. Type a few letters & before you know it the full ford option becomes available.
What I also love about it is, it remembers what you've type, so if you have to type that same phrase or sentence, the words automatically come up.
Have used it exclusively for almost 2 years nowComment

Oh, didn't know that. I thought it was just the RAZR with a bigger battery. Motorola must have fixed the way that the RAZR was rooted.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
As am I. Now I'm starting to think about just getting a Motorola of some capacity though. The Verizon store basically said that's where reliability is. The Samsung S3 has features, but not the build quality or reliability of the Motorola phones.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
The rep doesn't know what he/she is talking about. The SIII is the best Android phone on Verizon's network. It's the best Android phone that's out. The build quality? yes Samsung uses plastic but you don't have to worry about the wear and tear of say an iPhone. Most people use a case anyway if you need to add a little weight to it. You can't go wrong with the SIII bro."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
He's saying they're built similar in durability, but you don't hear owners complaining about their sturdiness do you?
I'm actually not sure that's what he's saying lol, but I'm just taking a guess. If I'm way off, I'm sure he'll clear it up.Comment
