I went after work and sat there and debated. I messed with it for about 35 minutes or so. I loved it and the size didn't bother me at all.

I didn't walk out of the store with it sadly, I'm going to sleep on it now that I got to hold the damn thing and mess with it.

The size is fine. This thing is a beauty. They had no accessories for it, and to be honest I usually like to go eBay anyway, I'm just afraid to drop it or do anything to it at the moment.

This thing flies right now and I'm still trying to figure out a bunch of things.

They did forget to give me a Mail-in rebate for the $50, so might have to make a trip tomorrow to go back.

Honestly, Bolt, you were just as excited, if not more, than I was...and I am pretty satisfied at the moment. I tried Netflix on this, screen is gorgeous. I had the Unlimited with cap on 5Gb, and he switched me to fully unlimited with no hotspot which is fine. I can fully use the Netflix capabilities in my commute.

Yea I would have gone the fully unlimited with no hotspot as well. I was talking about that with him, funny that you went with that choice. I was thinking along the same lines as you apparently did.

Congrats on picking it up, you're going to have a ton of fun messing with it in depth for a while.

And, it only made sense. I rarely used that feature and it's not like we are getting LTE speeds anyway. The fully unlimited will help with my streaming of music and videos while commuting. Lately I've had up to 4GB and sometimes have gotten warnings, since I've started streaming Netflix. Now I won't have to worry about that.

The funny thing with their plans is the fact that if you want to use it as a hot spot with the unlimited plan its as simple as rooting your phone and using the wifi tethering app.

It's not through the built in tethering app so it doesn't count.

Exactly that too, LOL. But, I don't tether anyway, but I knew I could just root and use the Wifi-tether app.

Despite its "age," the SIII is easily the next phone down the ladder rung.

It's still the top Android out there. I still think the Note II is a niche for whoever doesn't mind a 5.5 inch Phablet. To your point, it is still the best of the best Androids. Next Nexus being announced on Monday.

It is not just noticeable, there is no comparison. I'm on Verizon and have unlimited data through my company, I can get speeds that are around 15Mbps depending on where I'm at. Those speeds are close to my home internet and I usually just create a wireless hotspot to get on the internet on my laptop when not at home.

My LTE Speeds are faster than my home wifi lol.

I don't even think it is available on the Note II yet, fresh out of the box. Either that or I don't know how to get it to work.

Just tried and multi-window doesn't work out the box.

Battery life has been impressive, I would say off the charger for about 5 hours, and it's at 70% right now. Streaming spotify on my commute to work, little tidbits on netfilx to show my coworker the screen and some texting along with sync with FB.

I couldn't go without leaving my old phone on the charger. I may not need to charge this bad boy all day.
