November 9, I believe.

Sprint is out today and also US Cellular, I think. Verizon isn't 'till the end of November.

I can't recommend the S3 enough. The only thing i miss about my iphone is a few apps which arent available on Android yet. But its not a big deal at all.

This argument is just for the sake of semantics. If people use it as a phone, it's a phone.

As time goes on, the line will get even more blurred. It doesn't really matter at this point. The Note II hardware is better than the GSIII. That and size is all that really matters when comparing the two.

That's sick. We would have to wait for the 4.1.2 update. Seeing as we have yet to recieve the Jelly Bean update, we're not getting it anytime soon. Does anyone know when the Jelly Bean update is coming to the S3?

True. It's size is just about at the threshold of what could be considered a tablet. I'm not knocking it at all. It's an impressive device. If it came out in late September I probably would've purchased it.

If you could make phone calls on the Nexus 7, would you still call it a phone?

I do make calls with my N7.

Again, its all semantics. These things we carry around now are personal devices, its just that a better term than "smart phone" hasn't been coined yet.

Ok so my wife and I are due for upgrades now and there's absolutely no way we can afford even one of the high end phones so were looking at getting two Galaxy Nexus' for 30 each. For me its mostly because the ROM community is pretty good for the Nexus, and dammit we need to get rid of these crap Allys we've been using.

What train of thought? It's actually a question as to what you would call such a device, since it's actually soo much more and especially after you take the size of the device into consideration.
