I some don't care for sprint, but there 4G coverage is perfect imo, and getting the speeds i get, well at least anywhere I have gone so far is great.
By the way I got an update from android this morning to 2.3.6 from 2.3.4, anyone know what this is was suppose to do?Last edited by RoyalBoyle78; 12-13-2011, 09:43 AM.N.Y Mets

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I picked up the Droid RAZR last Friday to possibly hold me over until the Nexus arrives. It's pretty slick. I like the style/look of it and it is ridiculously thin. The speed has been excellent so far and I haven't seen too many issues with the battery life. I also haven't been surfing the web on it constantly and playing apps for hours on it so that has a lot to do with it. For a phone not having a 720p screen, the resolution is fantastic IMO.
With that said, I'm still waiting to see what happens with the Nexus. With Verizon, I can return the RAZR through mid January and pick up a Nexus if I want. Current rumors are the Nexus will release on 12/15 so I'm going to head to a store and give it a look before making my decision. From most - if not all reports, the Nexus is the better phone (outside of "cheap" plastic holding it together) so that will probably be what I end up with.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Still think the galaxy is better IMO. By the way people swear by Verizon, it funny thought, My friend just got the Rezuond and he had to return and accessories the other day at the Verizon store, I went with him. Now I have sprint, and my 4g was at full strength clocking out at 15 mps or about that, his new rezound couldn't even find a 4g, to me that's funny knowing Verizon suppose to have he best service huh.

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
There was a major bug that a lot of people were experience where a loss of signal would occur and you'd have to reboot or do a battery pull to resolve it. The update you got this morning included a fix for that. There are other small fixes too. If you noticed, on each screen, the page number would reflect on each screen. That has been changed. The main thing, the LOS is what the update addressed.N.Y Mets

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Remember when I mentioned something about a Droid RAZRMAZ from a Verizon Rep at work a while back and was told it wasn't going to happen? Apparently he was right:
Motorola may be preparing a follow up to its ultra-thin DROID RAZR LTE smartphone with a new device called the DROID RAZRMAX. This move may…
