Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I'm really struggling with what phone I should get. I was going to wait until this Summer for the Droid Bionic, but then comes the HTC Thunderbolt. However, I'm now not willing to put out this type of money for these phones.
I have narrowed it down to three: Samsung Fascinate, Droid Incredible or Droid X.
The Droid X seems too big to me so it's in 3rd place. I have until April to decide but sure am struggling with which one to go with.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I have a Droid X - I haven't tried out the other phones, but concerning the size you basically get used to it. My previous phone was a Storm, and the X seemed about twice the size of the Storm. I've gotten used to it and really don't even notice the size and it's been useful with videos and reading articles on the net.

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
The battery for my EVO finally came in after Newegg butchered the shipping process. Love it, had it in since 2pm and it's barely budged. Didn't make the phone as bulky as I'd expected either. I'd say it's a must own for EVO users."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

If you had a case for your phone, did it fit after you got the new battery?Comment

I don't have a case though I'm sure it would not fit in a stock EVO case."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
I have a Droid X with the extended battery. To my surprise it still fits most of the cases that I have for it. I have a clear hard plastic case and an OtterBox defender. It is a little more snug in the cases but it still fits. I mostly use the OtterBox now because the interior case while fitting it's as tight so I use the outer case to ensure that it doesn't go falling.Moderator

Props to FF for the recommendation.
I've had it off the charger since 9am EST and used it a ton today (non-stop checking of NBA trade deadline craziness lol) and *cover your eyes, Pared* it's still at 66%.
It's a must-own for EVO users IMO."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Dumb question: Have you just tired to take the battery out and put it back in? My GF does this with hers when it acts dumb like that. Other than that I would say take it back and get it replaced.Moderator

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Two good questions:
1. How can I listen to playlists on my Motorolla Defy on Youtube? It seems as if when I search for a playlist of a band I want to hear, that when I click on the playlist result, it STILL plays just one video at a time, making me have to listen to one video, then go back on the browser to the video next in line!
2. Also, even if I could get this to work where youtube let me hear the playlist on auto play, how do I lock my screen so that I can just listen to the playlist without having to leave my phone unlocked. If I leave it locked, the browser stops (the video playing that I want to listen to while working out you see). If I leave it unlocked, I may bump into the touch screen, causing the video to pause or to the browser to go to some other video on youtube.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Does anyone else feel like AT&T is due for a high-end android phone? Sprint has the EVO family, Verizon has the Droid family and the Thunderbold, T-Mobile has the google phones (G2, Nexus One, Nexus S), while AT&T has the Inspire which is more of a mid range phone (Atrix may have good specs, but it sucks). Hopefully AT&T gets a nice phone (Desire S?) at CTIA, but it'll probably be a crappy Motorola phone and I'll be stuck with the Inspire.Follow me on Twitter: @ADice15Comment
