                Opens up your phone to greatness. You'll be able to 'flash' other ROMs, meaning 'developer' made GB or even now ICS Roms. ICS Roms are still a bit unstable but most GB Roms are fantastic.

                You think your phone is fast now, wait until you get rid of some of the bloatware thrown on these things.

                For instance I have a Sensation, if it wasn't for rooting I wouldn't have the camera I have now, on my phone, or even the Beats software in the new HTC phones.

                Also, the ICS software was released, and I am already running on ICS on my phone even though HTC probably won't release an update until Feb.

                    so apparently HTC has stated that any phone released after Sept. 2011 can have the bootloader unlocked. I was set on the nexus, but now I'm not sure

                                        Hey does anyone know how to transfer game files from old android to new one? there must be a simple program that does it.

                                            Still love my GN, and the extended battery is perfect for my normal day to day use (without charging at work), though I think I'm gonna grab one of my USB cables and charge at work anyways (as well as using the various music apps on it).

                                            Any advice on a good car mount? I'm not liking the official GN mount, and am tempted to use a cup holder mount or a vent mount, but wasn't sure if the phone would get fried by heat in the winter...

                                                Do you have root access? Titanium back up, it will back up all the files + apps + data, and you can then transfer that to the new phone, and restore.

                                                            Very stupid question here...but I have no idea how to get Vibrate Only notifications on my GN.

                                                            Everytime I put Vibrate Always and turn the default notifications sound to Silent...no sound or vibration happens when I get a text/email.

                                                            I've tried turning down the sound (under Volume), putting it on Silent and all these other combinations but no luck.

                                                            I just want my phone to Vibrate when I get notifications. Don't know how.
