I am a neat freak, I don't like my home screens cluttered with widgets. I have a weather one, Facebook, Engadget, Messaging and Market place. That is about it. Actually the pic you see under my screen name is my home screen.

Droid X and Droid 2 Already Getting Projected ‘End of Life’ Dates

Quick! Panic! You’ve only had your brand new Droid X or Droid 2 for a matter of weeks! Verizon can’t seriously already be thinking about phasing them out, can they? Well, yes and no. The good news is that the date pegged for a potential ‘end of life’ for the two new Motorola handsets is March 31st, 2011. That is eight months away. The bad news is that is eight months away, a full 16 months before the contract on your new Android smartphone most likely expires.

With the rapid advancement of android and Motorola's push for a 2.0ghz phone, this isn't that ridiculous.

LOL US Cellular is out here too, they are the biggest carrier for this town. Overall Sprint seems to be king in Vermont though, they got towers everywhere.

Droid Pro is the global Droid 2: the evidence grows

We'd reported before our belief that the rumored Droid Pro is nothing more than the dual-mode version of the Droid 2, but the question remained: knowing that the Droid 2 has a model code of A955, what the heck is the difference between the model codes A956 and A957 that have been showing up in Verizon's systems? Looks like we might have some clarification on that question this afternoon thanks to a new shot clearly calling out the A957 as the R2-D2 version of the Droid 2 that's launching late next month. What does that mean? Well, it means that if the Droid Pro is a separate product with insane specs, it hasn't shown up in any screen shots and we don't have a model code for it. Our original tipster was pretty insistent that Verizon didn't have any product on its 2010 phone roadmap with crazier specs than the Droid X -- and besting it inside of six months would seem like an awful business move anyway -- so now, the only question seems to be whether Big Red will go with the "Droid 2 World Edition" or "Droid Pro" branding when this thing launches in the coming weeks.
so Droid 2 ISNT getting replaced its getting a rebranding name..... just like i thought i bet its the same as the Droid X

I only have the NFL Mobile app that is free with my phone. I don't use Vcast for anything, so I don't know if those are the same. But it is free and a pretty damn good app for NFL fans.

Well I try the Captivate more today and the Torch. I think I am going to get the Captivate. I really liked it better and I like the feel of the phone and touch pad was actually pretty good.
