The Note 2 FLIESSS. I haven't had regrets. I'm getting a case in sometime this week. I know for sure the case will ruin the comfort a bit.

The Note 2 is pretty much at the edge of comfort for me, anything wider would be too much.

One thing that annoys me, not sure how it turns on, I am typing and automatically trigger the 'one-hand operation' thing for keyboard which would make the touch keyboard smaller and move it to left and right...the onyl way to turn it off is to go back to settings and do it. I really wish I knew what I was pressing to trigger it. It is a little pet peeve that happens at least once a day while texting.

Selling point for me was Google maps. I had to get them back as I use my bike to get around the city and the iOS attempt at maps really hit me hard. I have always had a iphone whenever I played with droids for backup but with the GS3 I don't need it. I'm not even rooted and stock ICS.

I do miss how beautiful my iphone 5 was though and how perfect it fit in my hand.

That's awesome. I have been so out of the loop. I can finally get caught up on the tech world since I'm out of wack corporate America. Now I will wait impatiently for Jellybean.

I was looking into some ROMS, specifically Paranoid Android because it is what I run on my tablet, but there are things that aren't working and I'm going to pass because Samsung didn't do a bad jobm

If you want Roms, I'd definitely recommend Eclipse.

Anybody on AT&T, T-Mobile or some other GSM network wants a great smart phone without renewing your contract I recommend the LG Nexus 4, it's unlocked, but does not work on Verizon or Sprint right now.

I was dead set on getting the Samsung Galaxy Note II in which I would have had to renew my contract to get it for $300. But after reading the rave reviews about the Nexus 4 and with a price tag of only $300 in which you don't have to sign a contract with a carrier, I decided to go that route. You can even decide to drop ATT or T-Mobile and go with a pre-paid carrier if you want too; I am thinking about dropping AT&T and going with Virgin Mobile's $35/mnt unlimited plan (depends on how good their coverage is). The only downside with this phone is it does not support LTE right now (their is suppose to be an LTE version releasing at some point), it's not a big deal to me because LTE is not in my area for ATT right now anyway. This phone release on Nov 13th through Google Play. I'm so excited I get to have a quality smart phone without being locked in a contract!!

I hear the camera is terrible on the N4.

However, also hear the screen is fantastic.

In the end, I'm not a fan of LG. Great deal though from Google, I'm sure people will buy it up.

LG still makes phones? They should stick to TV's.

Does anyone know of any mods that will allow me to sort applications within folders on the home screen on touchwiz based roms?

If you have a rom, I assume you are rooted, so you can use whatever Launcher you want. I use Nova and it allows to put the apps in whatever order you want.

Now if you want to automatically sort them, you need to get an app for that. I used to use SiMi Folder app, but haven't used it in a long time, so I'm not sure what it does now. I've also tried Application Folder, but didn't keep it.

                      SiMi Folder-

                      App Folder-

This one is built for TouchWiz, I haven't used it but it says it sorts folder contents.

                      AppZorter for TouchWiz-

I hate what Google did in the latest Map / navigator update. They removed the turn by turn compass view or whatever you want to call it. The map would rotate so that the arrow (your car) was going in the same direction on the screen as you were moving.

Now it just stays with North being at the top of the screen. I'm sure it will confuse a lot of people.

Just tap the compass icon, it toggles the screen rotation setting.

That only works in Maps, not the Navigator. Do you now need to put it in compass mode before going to the turn by turn navigation?
