I really like my S3 that I got a little while back. I flirted with going to the iPhone because we have an extra 4s at the house, just couldn't do it.

Can anybody recommend a good podcast manager app?

I finally settled on DoggCatcher, but it is (or was) $5, so I'd suggest trying out a few other options as I don't believe there is a free trial. beyond pod and pocket casts are popular. Plenty of options, some free some paid, hard to say. Some apps like tune in have podcast functionality built in so you get multiple functions out of one app.

Will do. Hopefully this Saturday night. Was tempted to wait for the Galaxy 4 but if I did I'd then see about the next great thing etc..etc..

How's the speed? I heard the battery life was pretty good also. Can you confirm that?

Keep flip flopping between the S3 and Note 2....
If I get the S3 it's no money out of pocket as with giftcards and trade ins I have enough for the phone and a case etc..
Get the Note 2 and I'm paying 60-70 ...
I really do like what I see with the Note 2 though.

Battery life is fantastic based on previous experience.

I have more apps loaded up on my phone than I ever had at any time with any other phone and it is still quicker than those phones out the box.

You will get used to the size after a week...and then after another 2 weeks you won't be able to read anything of a smaller screen anymore. The difference is drastic.

My only issue, and it might just be isolated to me, is the headphone jack gives me problems. My original one had to be replaced and this one is giving me issues now too.

Does the Note 2 actually fit well in your front pocket? It's a big phone, but I LOVE the screen size and I have big fingertips, can barely work my wife's iPhone lol. I'm very attracted to the Note 2's size, just hoping it's practical.

It's upgrade time from my old Samsung which is nearly three years old and is now unreliable. An S3 would also be a consideration.

Also...does tapatalking on message boards cut into your data plan much? I'd only need it occasionally on some weeknights and light use on weekends for that as I usually post from work. I don't plan to stream music or videos.
