Amazon Android AppStore is giving away some nice apps for free TODAY ONLY.

There is one app you should really get that I can't recommend enough - mSecure. It's a password manager that is local or can be synced - no account needed where your passwords exist on a server.

On my G2 it says I have to check the box for Unknown Source... Will this hurt anything on my phone?

As long as you stick to amazon and don't go downloading/installing apk from random websites you should be good.

Anyone own a Note 10.1 2014? Interested to hear people's opinions of it. Got a Note 3 in November, and I like the thought of using the S Pen on a larger screen, and I prefer the Android ecosystem to iOS.

You can disable that for security purposes after installing the app, too, thrn enabling when desired / needing to update an app.

Is anyone seriously interested in the OnePlus phone? The whole mystery and hype and invite system killed any real interest, personally.. Maybe that'll change.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. The lead in, intrigue, teases and then you factor in someone signing off on this invite system and I can no longer be bothered. Things might change but, initially, I was more than willing to listen.

Not that it makes it any less stupid, but those accepted in the smash your old phone thing get it for $1. If you have an old phone on the list laying around, like the S3, it would be worthwhile to win one since the $300 phone is worth more than that old S3. Most of the phones on the list, though, are worth more than the oneplus.

Decided to go with the new HTC One. Had a Galaxy S2 for the last two and half years so this feels like a crazy big upgrade. Loving it so far. The sense UI seems to be a lot snappier than Touchwiz.

Okay every since the latest Note 3 update my phone has been having so many problems. Locking up my phone,, crashing, etc. I had no problems before hand. Even ,, keeps happening all the time. Then my message system takes 3 to 4 times to actually register my typing.

It is always encouraged that you should do a factory reset after taking an OTA Update.
