Woke up to a marshmallow update for my m8 this morning. Yay!

Edit: or not, tricked me. The update was to prepare for marshmallow, but it wasn't marshmallow.

OK so I mentioned before that my Moto X gets horrible battery life but now its just getting stupid. I went to bed last night with 100% battery life and woke up with it in the 70's. I heard that you are supposed to lose maybe a few percentage points. Which is what I remember from my last phone.

Could I have gotten a lemon? Should I contact Motorola? I really just kinda wish I got the 6p now. I think it's too late to return this phone.

check what is running, you probably have a ton of stuff running and checking for updates

you will never only lose a few % unless you turn off all radios and force stop all apps and services

Made the jump from iOS to Android after purchasing a friend's Galaxy S6 for 250$. I am amazed at how much I love it. I was little unsure if I would be able to make the switch but it only took me a few minutes and I already knew Android was the OS for me.

Ill never run out of memory with the 128gb, Ill be set for a bit now, still think the 6 plus is a great phone. Never had an Iphone with this much storage though.

The safe bet for me was was Apple for me, update that are stable and the IOS on the 6 Plus with still be update for some time. I'm good now.

Do you have a serious internal conflict? I think you need to just work for someone who allows you to test out new tech ALL of the time.

I disabled the Facebook and Messenger apps on my phone but I tried sharing something the other day with the share button and forgot that I can no longer do that without the app installed. How do you guys do it if you have the app disabled? Copy and paste the link?

I'll just say this about FF. I know its tempting with phones and tech. I'm also one of those people who loves new tech. I used to be bad years ago with swapping game systems. Prob not as bad as you, FF. lol I say that with love.

I recently switched from iPhone to Android. And honestly I really enjoy both. I'm not a huge fan of Samsung's touchwiz, but the phones they make are certainly nice. Since I've gotten the Moto X, which has pure Android, I love it. The only reason I would get a different phone now is because my battery life on the X is ridiculously bad. And now having pure Android I think the only other phone I could do would be the Nexus 6p.

So I definitely get the temptation to switch phones. I'm always wondering if there is a better one out there. But I used an iPhone for about 3 years before I changed a few weeks ago. I would suggest making a deal with yourself that if your phone is in good condition and there are no pressing issues, and you've also switched a few times recently, then stick with it for like 4-5 months. Then if you still feel the need to switch do it then. Just my opinions.

Agreed my brother, I will stick with the Note 5 for a bit, Its really growing on me and I just got bored with IOS very quick cause it was been there done that, Yes IOS is great cause it just works perfect. The Note 5 on the other hand is really a stellar phones. I really want the Nexus 6p but after reading up on it, there are writes that said the NOTE was better but man im enjoying the Note 5. Screen is amazing and the Camera is flat out the best I have seen thus far on any phone.

Yes. It usually embeds the preview or video or whatever after you submit it. If you're not sure, you could always post something but share it only with yourself to see how it looks.
