I will not be watching this show anymore after Simon leaves. I will watch his show instead. I've heard Paula Abdul may join him on that show btw, so it'd be pretty comfortable to a lot of long time viewers.
Last night was pretty disappointing overall. There were some characters but not enough GENUINE ones. You could tell that most of those folks were just putting on an act.
My favorite part of the night was the girl that LiverpoolRed speaks of. I've never seen the judges react to anyone like that, all of them. She may have lost but in a big way she WON....imagine how she and her friends must have loved that!!

By the time it was over dude had cussed MJB out three different ways. I thought he was gonna break down crying. Truly an insane individual.PS: You guys are great.

I thought Mary J Blige was great. I wish they'd keep her on instead of Ellen.

Mary J was 1,000 better than Victoria Beckham. Beckham was just terrible, she looks downright scary IMO...I am shocked I didn't have nightmares about her. If they make a live action Disney movie they should cast her as the evil witch.
That last guy last night, the 65 year old guy who sang the song about the Pants on the ground, OMFG...that was the hardest i've laughed in probably a couple of years. That was freakin' CLASSIC! I do know it's the hardest i've EVER laughed during American Idol. Jermaine is the best singer I've seen so far.
Pants On The Ground Guy will most likely make another appearance during the season finale. The guy that cussed up a storm cracked me up. Unlike the guy with the glasses, you could tell it wasn't an act to get on TV. The guy last night actually thought he was really good.
So much for the theory that AI would take a big hit in the ratings with Abdul leaving. Last night's episode was down from last year but still averaged 26.4 million viewers, far and away better than every other show on TV last night.Comment

I really liked the Asian guy tonight. I thought the girl at the end got in mostly on her looks. If she was fat than Randy probably wouldn't have said yes. Shania Twain has been the best guest judge so far. I agreed with most of her comments.
