Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
Since the show has ended I convinced a co worker, sister, mother and father to watch season one. The crazy thing is they are now reading the books. My buddy is half way thru book 4, the same book my wife just started. My entire world is consumed!Comment

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
I want to like this show, but I can't get into it. Never been into fantasy stuff like this, but it was on HBO so I gave it a chance. I have a couple of friends that love these books. Here is the problem for me.
IF YOU ARE READING THE BOOKS I GO INTO DETAILS UP TO BOOK 4 BELOW
SpoilerBesides this not really being up my alley. I liked the Starks and knowing that the majority of them get killed, or have some other terrible crap happen to them like Arya going blind. Sansa's travails through book 2 and 3. I just can't get into it. I liked the first season and could probably watch season 2. But once Robb dies and Catyln becomes stonehart. I'm out.Last edited by N51_rob; 07-07-2011, 10:05 PM.Moderator

SpoilerDany suffocated Khal Drogo rather than him live as a vegetable, burned his body, and she walked through the flames with the dragon eggs. Those 3 critters were the dragons from the eggs. Before all of that her baby was delivered dead and turned to ash as a result of the life-for-death ceremony done to keep Khal Drogo from dying.
I think I got right. JB, did you not watch the same last episode or what?MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames

SpoilerCan we just make a rule that we won't refer to the dragons as critters. There will be no disrespecting the Khalessi. :wink:Comment
