Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
While they changed a number of things from the book, I think they hit all the major plot points and themes for the entire series.
Can't wait for spring 2012 though I have my doubts they'll be able to capture some of the more **** scenes in clash of kings in only 10 episodes.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
Even though I got chills from the "King of the North" scene, I still felt they could've made it more ****.
I was waiting for the series to end before starting the second book. Now I can finally start it.Lux y VeritasComment

Read the first book between now and then at least. One of the biggest hurdles to getting in to the books is the large amount of characters and houses. You are already most of the way over that hurdle cause you know who the major characters are.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
Can somebody spoiler explain me what happened at the end with the fire
SpoilerI knew she wouldnt burn but what, did she have more dragons in her womb other than the one that died or did I miss read something?
It seems the went all True Blood where most of the momentum came from the episode prior to the finale. A whole lot of talking in this one. At this point and after the beheading Ive lost all interest in caring about most of the characters. Its all great and everything but the thought that anybody can die actually put up a guard for me about the remaining characters. I know better than to care too much for them or else Ill get episode 9'd lol. The only guys I care about (forgive me about names) are the youngest daughter who is now a boy, and the Nights Watch son and a little bit for Kallessi (I hope she goes ape **** on everybody with her new found assets).Last edited by kingkilla56; 06-20-2011, 12:18 AM.Comment

SpoilerOh ok I didnt realize they were involved in the fire. Was it just a coincidence that they hatch with a fire burning with Kallessi's love in it? It seemed kind of odd that the dragons hatch out of nowhereComment
