Well, I personally have really enjoyed his Transformer films, so I'm pretty excited for this.

This movie won't be good unless they bring Vanilla Ice back.

I loved them as kids but let's not pretend the original live action movies were good. I made a funny.

                  Exactly

Ninja Turtles and Transformers were two of my three favorite cartoons and movies (throw in Ghostbusters), but they were still cartoons aimed at 8 year olds.

Those two and the new Star Wars movies are very unfairly criticized now because people remember serious films, dialogue, and a lack of childish humor that never actually existed.

I can't wait to hear the complaints people have about a movie with ninja, crime fighting turtles.

Re: Michael Bay Tapped To Relaunch Live-Action TMNT Franchise

The original turtles movies still stands as one of the best comic book adaptations of all time. I saw that movie three times in the theatre as a kid. No leo and raph did not use their blades bit raph did swear and for a kid that was dark enough for me. I too was a fan of the early comics and the turtles were ninjas (assasins) in the truest sense. I'm thinking we will get animated faces with turtle costumes kind of like where the wild things are. Although ig they really want to be authentic the turtles would be like 4 ft tall.

If the michael bay tmnt movie is anywhere near as good as the 1st transormer movie I will be happy. Transformers wasn't great but for a movie about alien robots I think its about as good as it can be.

I watchedthe latest animated film on demand and hated it. Been waiting 20 years to see Leo slice somebody, bay better not eff that up

I'm convinced that if someone made a Stretch Armstrong movie there would be complaints about how director x,y,z will ruin the deep mythology that made it so great.

Seriously. Scorsese could have made Transformers and it still would have sucked.

Perhaps, but even for the lack of source material, those movies BLOW.

                              100% correct on that.
