Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

So the link I posted earlier is of a different tv than I was lookin at. This one, http://bfads.net/Item/Walmart-Black-...ED-HDTV/159697, is the one I was looking at in the actual ad. For some reason it differs from the ad to the actual walmart website.

The one in the ad is LED 240 Hz and a Smart TV with the silver stand.

Best bang for your buck out of all the plasmas this year. Stripped of 3D and Smart features, but it holds up with a great picture and is comparable to the top of the line, though still 2nd tier.

Shoot, my bad man. I read it quickly and thought it was an ST60, not an S60.

S60 is third- or fourth-tier. Better to try for an ST60 if you can.

Thanks, I forget what's missing from it then that makes it cheaper than the VT60, ZT60, and F8500. The picture quality is slightly inferior, but not by a large margin.

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

I want to buy a 40 or 42 inch flat screen as a Christmas gift...

Low end brand in the 400-500 range (if possible)...

I need to order it over the internet and have it shipped...

                      Any suggestions?

Is "Cyber Monday" a good time to look for that sort of thing?

ANY and ALL suggestions much appreciated!

                      Thanks!

I think I've asked a question similar to this one (TV / Laptops / Etc) a handful of time before...

No problem. Also, walmart , best buy, target ,etc will have HDTVs on sale online, but not discounted as heavily as the BF door busters.

You may be able to get a good deal on Cyber Monday, but I would try and get it done on a black friday deal.

Moreso of an audio question... I bought the Acer HD6510BD Projector for the mancave, love it, works like a dream.

However audio wise, I have bought the VIZIO S3821w-C0 38-inch 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer from Amazon with Credit Card Points that I've accumulated.

I was looking at the projector, and it only has a Headphone Audio Out Jack (Stereo 3.5mm from my research). My question is, is there a better solution than going from 3.5mm Stereo from the Projector to the 3.5mm on the Soundbar? Like an adapter to Optical or something?

                                Looking at a 50 inch LED-LCD, VIZIO E-series E500I-A1 to go along with a PS4

Anyone use this TV for gaming. I heard it was pretty good but want some opinions in here before I take the leap.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
