Stormy, I'm not sure what that feature does. Test it out & see how it affects your picture quality

It basically makes the whites more white. I tried it on low looks better off. Adds to much white to the overall picture to me. I have also changed my color gamut to standard from wide, colors look more natural.

I was looking to spend between 400 to 600 dollars however I know that I may have to go out of my price range. I was basically looking for bang for you buck deals. It doesn't need to be 3D and/or have all the apps on it. Just a straight up relatively good gaming tv. I prefer LCD and looking for probably 32 inches at the smallest.

Any suggestions or would it be better waiting until black Friday/cyber monday?

Candy, this LG is a nice buy. Really nice gaming TV, when Game Mode is enabled.

I'd echo what bigfnjoe96 said about the LG, solid TV. I'm currently using an LG 32"(LN53) for my TV and monitor via HTPC and it looks great and features good customization options(IRE).

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

I am a fan of the LG brand. I currently have a 42" 1080p lcd tv and it looks and works great. I did have a 32" 720p LG for 6 years before it it died but served me well. My 42" has a nice amount of inputs, 3 hdmi's which is great as I have a PS3 & PS4 and my cable box is also hdmi. I did use the trumotion for quite awhile but eventually turned it off as it produced to much halo & artifact effects. My eyes had to adjust for a few days with it off but now I wouldn't go back. Here's a pic of my tv model # is 42CS570. I got it about 2 years ago.

I don't since it usually ends up dimming the screen. I do have auto off on so in case I forget to turn the TV off after I turn off the box.

Yeah its better than using my Mastercard where interest accumulates if the thing isnt paid off with the monthly payment.

Don't over spend on HDMI cables. I'm running cables by a company called Bluerigger, found them via Amazon. Decent prices, solid cables, no issues with two of their HDMI cables + a DVI. You could always go the monoprice route as well.

Well can't get that one off Newegg because the warrantee doesn't count towards the 500 dollar purchase for the 12 month interest free. So looking at ones with 3 HDMI ports, 120gz and 1080 resolution I found this:

                              http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=89-262-330

I figured the extra money would be counters by the extra 6 months I would get interest free. Thoughts?

Great PQ, with a really nice Game Mode for gaming.

That Vizio is not a great TV for gaming.
