I was just about to buy the KS8000 but saw it went up in price since the holiday season. Any idea if it will drop a couple hundred dollars again soon? Super bowl season maybe?

I was able to do the Anyview Cast with the YouTube app from my Galaxy S5. However I could not connect with the Spotify app. It wasn't able to find the PIN. I had the TV on the right mode and it was searching for a device. Is the PIN random? It wasn't 1111 or 0000.

I can try to hit next without no pin and see what happens. It automatically grabbed it when I did the YouTube app.

For gaming, probably the KS8000. Overall though the OLED is gonna be the best.

Not with the app in tv, but through Xbox one and the PS4 it will.

For gaming, probably the KS8000. Overall though the OLED is gonna be the best.

I was watching the LG OLED's in store a few weeks back and they had a hockey game on. I could not believe what I was seeing. There is virtually zero motion blur. Like none. Might as well have been at the game that's how smooth it was.

Ok, well that is cool. Funny (ironic) not through the tv app.

Well after I sell my Wii U and two Wiis to Amazon I'll have a new gift card for $277. Combine that with the $200 in gift cards my mother-in-law got me for Christmas and I'll have $477 to spend.

Which is nearly enough to buy the Hisense 55" H8C which is like $499-$599 on Amazon depending upon if you catch it on sale.

So I broached this with the wife last night and wow did she get pretty upset. "We have bills to pay! Our tv is fine! Why would you go spend a bunch of money on a new TV that is basically the same as what we have??"

I see her point in one respect, we do have a lot of bills to pay. But this is very little money coming out of our pockets to pay since I have all the gift cards (would be about $100 give or take).

I dropped it after a bit but will have to continue to wear her down I guess. Sort of reminds me of A Christmas Story with him asking everyone and trying to wear everyone down, LOL.

Any advice fellas?

Do you have anything else to trade-in? I traded in my PS4, some games, my PS3 Headset and some TV Blu Rays to help recoup some costs when I got my KS8000 and PS4 Pro.

If not you don't then, do you have a birthday coming up? If not, just tell your wife that you're getting yourself an early Valentine's Day present.

In the future just remember that "it's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission".

As someone who wants a 4k tv but has a lot of bills I'd advise paying off bills first....sucks, and I may not get a tv for a while, but wait until you have more trade in or something.

Are you sure? I thought it was just HDR that wasn't supported through the on board apps?
