This is a great deal but only 50 inches I want 65" but this may be a deal I can't pass up. Is 4K HDR worth it for only 50" screen?

Very very surprised by Sony here. No doubt it's a terrific TV. But to price it that close to the OLEDs I think is silly.

When the 930D came out, the price was $3499 for the 65", it'll drop.

Thinking of going with the Vizio M series 65" tomorrow from Best Buy. What are your guys thoughts?

The Vizio M Series 2016 LED TV provides great picture quality and overall performance, excelling in motion performance for watching sports or playing video games...

This Hisense I spoke of before arrived today. Scheduling delivery with Pilot was easy and they held to the delivery time. Didn't get to hook it up until the latter part of the evening. Had to apply some updates which did not take long at all. Someone on the Slickdeals site posted a manual update they recommended doing through the Hisense site, but I think it was redundant.

                    Hisense 65" Class 4K Smart TV - 65CU6200

Only used the presets for now. I'll get into more of the video calibrating later. Initial impressions are that for the price (and buying it sight unseen) I am totally blown away. Yes, there are light spots while a video is not displaying but this certainly isn't problematic for me. I would assume that many of you guys who have higher end TV's and get those deeper blacks may not like the look of this, but I couldn't be happier. I don't necessarily think spending the extra $200 for the H8C would been worth it. And just got under the gun for the 4 year warranty (so thank you to whoever gave the heads up on that).

I have the 65KS8000, 65KS9000, 65X900E, and the LG OLED65B6P all on my Amazon wishlist. Im going to watch them for a drastic price reduction even if I have to wait until Black Friday. I hope the XboxONE Scorpio comes out in August or September to allow me some time between these expensive items.

Decided against the Vizio and picked up the Samsung KS800 from Costco. Anyone have any good calibration settings?

You got me. From what little I've read I don't think or know if it's all that discernible. From what little I've watched on this set, like I've said, it's been absolutely fine. I don't really console game any longer so the set will be primarily for TV viewing. I think some of this stuff is a bit like cars. Sometimes people are possibly buying a TV because of the specs so they can tell the boys at the office and/or post it in their signatures on websites. The bottom line for us was this is a great TV for the price.

Bonus feature: the remote is well layed out and works flawlessly with our Amazon Fire TV Stick running KODI.

Some Avatar Blu Ray shots via my Nexus 6. (No justice done on PQ) Man the upconversion on this movie is incredible...

I could swear I'm watching an actual 4K Cut
