I think the way your running your HDMI connections into your receiver might be the issue. From this description it seems like you don't have anything in the HDMI Out port, which is actually the port you should have an HDMI cable running out into your TV. All the other device should be running to the HDMI In (aka HDMI 1, 2, 3, 4)

Ok. Gotcha. I thought the HDMI-ARC was sufficient enough for the HDMI out. I'll have to double check.I think the way your running your HDMI connections into your receiver might be the issue. Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Update: The only way to fix it was to turn off HDMI link for the PS4. For some reason this LG paired with my receiver seems to not control normally with other devices. I didnt have that issue with my Samsung. Thanks for the help bigjoe! The only HDMI out on my receiver was the ARC.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Im getting a new set soon, and I'm still so confused what to get. I was all for the New Sony 900H. Then wanted the 950H, but it has no 2.1 HDMI. Now I'm not so sold on HDMI 2.1 right now because know we aren't getting any games running at 4K 120hz IMO.

My next choice is the Samsumg Q80T, im hearing is a beast of a gaming TV. What are the thoughts on the Q80T?

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Little expensive for me, could be im afraid of burn in, even though I know it's not that big of an issue anymore. If I was to get an OLED, the B9 would be in my price range. Any thoughts help, always appreciated Scott

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

I honestly wouldn't worry about burn in and I game a lot on my C9. If you can do an OLED, you'll be way more satisfied in the PQ than any LED out there. Plus the Q80T is more like a Q70R from last year.PSN-Shugarooo

For the same price you get the 55 inch q80t you can get the 55c9 or cx

HDMI 2.1 is important for next gen consoles because of eArc mostlyComment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Only reason why I'm not sold on 2.1 for next gen, is I don't think any games and I mean any game is doing 4K 120.

 What set do you recommend?

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Both systems support 4K @ 120hz, actually the Xbox One X does that already. It's about future proofing, there will be games that will support that.PSN-Shugarooo

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

 Xbox One X supports 1440p 120hz/4K 60hz not 4K 120hz

Both next gen systems will support it, but we are not going to get games that run native 4K 120hz. Consoles haven't perfected 4K 60hz which I pray is main stream next gen.N.Y Mets
