They've been passed up and moved to irrelevant. Why would Wal-Mart spend that much money on them? The only way it makes sense to me is they are dumping the Onn in-house brand and looking for something that was already producing TVs to replace it.

Walmart Onn already competes with Vizio, so they could save some money and end that agreement. Maybe the Vizio brand is more recognized so it could be viewed as better quality.

If Walmart can't put the software in TVs that people buy, then the deal is terrible for Walmart. Vizio has fallen so far behind the cheap TV manufacturers that I just don't see how it's a good deal.

Vizio is definitely more of a household name. Every time I am in Walmart and walk pass electronics I hear older people asking who is ONN ? Much like they ask who is Hisense and the way they try to pronounce Hisense is hilarious to me. Older people only recognize Vizio and Samsung. Hell some even ask who is LG too.

There's room for both, even if it's not a market you or I participate in. Vizio could easily be positioned (as it already is), as the 'step up' from the private label brand. They've been slumping for a while, good opportunity for Walmart imo, but not something I'm interested in buying in our house of mostly Samsung and LG TVs.

Man, I am so still proud of the price I got my 42" C3 back in July! It was the one time in my life that need and opportunity met at the perfect location.

We plan on re-doing our living room later this year and plan on upgrading our TV in there. It's an older big TV that's about a decade or so old. I'm still enjoying my LG C2 that's in our bedroom. But, I don't want that tier of TV for our living room sinces usually brighter and I'm just now starting not worrying about my toddler's tantrums lol. I just want a good higher mid-tier 4k TV that's 65+ inches that I'm willing to wait until around the holiday sales to get.

I’m looking at moving my 77” G3 upstairs to the loft and getting a 65” Mini LED. Probably will just look at the Sony X93 or X95 if they do a 65” version.

I know release prices are always higher, but damn $2,699 for the 65"??? I guess I didn't pay attention to the MSRP because I didn't recall the previous years started at $2,499.

                          Apologies for the dumb question...

Just got a G3 and my config is Cable box to hdmi1, Sonos Arc to hdmi2 (eARC/ARC), PS5 to hdmi3.

I watched a few videos on settings and made some recommended changes. My question is, if watching Cable TV I know that is SDR content. If I choose to Stream from the LG home page, am I still using SDR settings since it is connected to hdmi1? I had to disable 4k for this HDMI port in order to get sound when watching Cable TV. Am I actually streaming in non HDR?

If so, would that mean I would have to stream off my PS5 to get HDR content and 4K?

                          Thank you!

If you are using the LG apps then it's not on an HDMI port. It's just on the OS. Stream something you know should be in HDR and the icon should flash in the top right. Open up the settings once the content is going.

Hey Scott, I hope all is well. Just a quick question. I was able to snag a C3 42" a few days ago, which I am going to use as my work monitor and for gaming. It's sealed in the box still. I waiting for my new desk to come tomorrow.

The main question I have is: the site I ordered my stuff from just got the C4 42" in stock. Is there really any major update between the C3 and C4 that should make me get the C4 instead, I mean, it's like $600 more. I think I'll be good with the C3.
