I joined the "cable cutter" crowd three months ago. Saving almost $100/mo is very nice and surprisingly I don't miss HD all that much. Guess when you really sit down and prioritize things it doesn't bother you as much. Since Comcast filters your package via the cable box you can just plug the coax from the wall directly into your TV and I still get about 85 channels for free. I very rarely watch any TV outside of sports so Hulu is fine for me.
For Christmas though I think I'm going to get the HD Slingbox and put it at my parents' house. They have DTV and an extra HD box in the basement that they rarely use so I can put it on that and get DTV for free pretty much.
