It felt like there was way too much going on. Dwight and Packker trying to hook up with Nellie, Jim and Kathy, The office, and Ryan and Erin.

I've been pretty critical of this season, but I've really enjoyed the last two episodes.

Pretty good. Dwight and the bed bug test, Jim Fending off Kathy, and Daryl and Val were the best of it (IMO).

I wonder where they can go from here with Kathy's character? Wouldn't it be awkward between Jim and Kathy now? Is there going to be some sort of false rumor that they hooked up, and threaten the marriage with Pam? Or do they just ignore everything and send Kathy to the background?

I think it will come up when they get back, but that will be the end of it. It'd be really out of character for that to threaten their marriage. This is also a light hearted comedy, and they aren't going to go down a road that heavy.

Kathy should be leaving anyway if Pam's back, right?

I will say that I thought the Kathy/Jim storyline last night actually gave the show some life. After a couple rough early episodes, I think this season has found its' groove.

I agree. Some may have said there was too much going on but for me, it was nice to have something occur that I actually cared about again.

I had my hopes up at the end of the previous episode that Andy would leave as Boss to be the secretary. I really don't like him as boss.

I liked it. Don't really find the Jim/Kathy stuff that interesting, but it didn't detract. Dwight's been great in recent episodes

I am okay with that. I didn't hate him as a character, but I definitely didn't prefer him either.

Anyway, another episode tonight I enjoyed pretty well. These last few episodes have been a hot spot for me. I wish I remembered some of the lines. Creed cracked me up, as did a lot of Toby. In fact, a lot of folks had moments tonight.

Character was not written into the show very well, so I'm not upset about that at all. What I would be worried about is the potential I'm reading of a spin-off with some of the key cast members.

Notice that Spader's character hasn't been in the last few episodes and they have been some of the best of the season.

I laughed harder than I have in a while at one particular scene in the latest episode.

When Toby is giving the self defense lesson and says strike, scream, run and then says lets try it. When creed got up and smacked meridith, screamed, and ran out of the office I was rolling.
