Oh, and the new Our Lady Peace album is great. It's nothing like any of their other albums, but I still think it's better than their previous two.

Those are the only two songs I know I have heard on the radio. The other two I don't recognize.

Anyway, I finally had to pull the Heartless Bastards' Arrow from my car's cd player (great album, love the atmosphere throughout) and pop in Point Morrow by the Shins. Great stuff.

I can't stop listening to the new Our Lady Peace album. Probably their best in years, and that's only based on the webrip haha. It comes out in Tuesday in Canada but not til the 17th here in the states. I'll probably download a cd quality rip after it releases in Canada to tide me over til the US release.

Don't write them off if you've only heard stuff by them that's come out after 2002 hahaha.

Their first 4 albums (Naveed, Clumsy, Happiness, and Spiritual Machines) and their new one (Curve) are all awesome. Gravity isn't too bad either. Their last 2 (Healthy In Paranoid Times and Burn Burn) before this one were both mediocre mainstream rock though.

New Eve 6 leaked. First album since 2003, back when I was in high school and loved them haha. Let's see if they still got it after breaking up in 2004 and reuniting in 2007.

I almost hate to hop into discussions like this one, because the means by which I hear most of the music I listen to is the radio, which means that most of what I listen to is frowned upon by other rock people as being too "mainstream." I personally don't buy into that whole argument. So, just keep that in mind as I give you my list of favorite bands:
                                Metallica
                                Nirvana

                                Megadeth
                                Smashing Pumpkins
Avenged Sevenfold- this is where people start to judge...
Bullet For My Valentine- I hear you judging me silently through your computer.
                                Red
                                Skillet
