I finally finished "The Night Agent" over the weekend. That's a really good show! I think instead of continuing the story of Peter and Rose, they should have someone else answer that phone then run another season for that story. They could keep that up for a while.

Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet was very good. It's a one and done miniseries on HBO Max.

Mistakenly posted above on movie page. ^^^^^^^

Also good is the first season of "Schmigadoon" starring Keegan-Michael Key and Cecily Strong. (Apple TV+)

I'm I think 4 episodes in and I agree, pretty good show, I have a weird take about Peter though, or I should say the actor playing him, he bugs the crap out of me with his generic actions, he's bland as ****, like he's been overly instructed to be green, and I get that's his character, but it's too much

HBO Max having some Harry Potter series, each season based on a book?

Don't get me wrong, the books deserve something like that way more than movies, it's just a shame things like that didn't become a thing until later (I loved the series of unfortunate events Netflix series more than the movie for the most part for various reasons). I said it before, if the movies never existed and this franchise was turned into an 8 series tv show, its probably one of the best ever.

It just sucks they're trying to remake something as popular as those movies. It would be like turning the original star wars movies into a 3 season tv series. You can't remake that, but you can certainly spin off that universe.

Which is exactly what they should've done for this series. How do you not have a series about the first wizarding war days?

I hear what you are saying and agree 100%. I do though believe this could create a whole refresh or reawakening of the story. As a 6th grade teacher, it was amazing to me this year that I had just a couple of kids that had even watched the movies, and none that had read the books. This series is too classic to drift away to oblivion with the younger generations, so, who knows, this may reboot the phenomenon. Just a thought.

Finally, the wife and I have gotten through enough episodes and restarts to be hooked by Succession. It took awhile but eyebrow deep now.

My deepest wish is the ability to use Logan Roy's go to phrase when ending a conversation of dispersing someone from my presence; if you've watched Succession, you'll know what I'm talking about.

                  Great show!

7 Kings Must Die. A fitting end to the series that ended a year and a half ago.

We loved The Last Kingdom and the movie was great and made us think….wow they could have easily gotten two more seasons outta the show.

Felt too fast!!! But man we loved this show. One of favorite’s for sure.

Netflix being Netflix really. It was easily their best show they had on Netflix and out of he 13 books this series was based on, they only covered 5 of the books. So they could have easily had another good 5 more seasons out of it. I mean the movie itself covered 13 years of time span.

Watched the first episode of Netflix's golf documentary Full Swing.

Such an interesting look inside the day-to-day life of the world's top golfers.

                            The Offer

It’s a mini series on Paramount plus about how The Godfather was made. It’s fantastic, didn’t know half the stuff that went on. Im surprised the movie was even finished.

Everyone is great on it, just stellar stuff from Miles Teller, Juno Temple, Mathew Goode, Ribisi and Burn Gorman.

You can go down the rabbit hole on Youtube. The Offer is on my watchlist. In watching the myriad of youtubes, I was surprised how many people, including Mario Puzo, thought the book wasn't of the highest quality. I read the book and liked it, probably because I didn't know better.

The show is outstanding and could stand on it's own if not another episode was made, but that probably won't be the case and I'm not complaining.
