Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Tried watching White Lines. After 7 episodes I just couldn't do it anymore.
The premise is good but the show is extremely slow moving with useless scenes and dialogue. I feel like you could condense three episodes into one.
And with each episode it's becoming clearer that there will not be a conclusion in the end. They are clearly setting up multiple seasons.

I started watching dynasty over the weekend and enjoyed it. I was afraid to start it up as I feared it was to girly with all the business stuff going on that's not the case. Since its also a show on network TV its cool to see every show end on a cliffhanger.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Malcolm X
This is a long ride, but damn it's worth it by the end. Denzel is amazing and damn near becomes X by the end of the movie. The ending is powerful. As soon as Ossie Davis started doing his voice-over I completely lost it. Powerful, and inspirational.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
I thoroughly enjoyed "Da 5 Bloods". I knew nothing about this movie until a couple of nights ago when a friend told me that it was worth checking out. All that really needs to be said is Delroy Lindo. My goodness, that man put on a monster performance. I'd be shocked if he doesn't win some awards after this one.
The concept, character development, and acting from the entire cast is good stuff all around. I also thought Spike did a great job of mixing in different camera views and filters during flashback sequences. I highly recommend giving this a watch.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
My List just keeps growing. I’ve finally resorted to just watching on my phone at night since most of the things I want to watch aren’t 4yo friendly.
I’m currently binging “All American”

Clarke Peters & Isiah Whitlock Jr in this too. Aka Lester Freamon and Clay Davis from The Wire.Last edited by slickdtc; 06-16-2020, 11:02 PM.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

It'll fly by in a wink, just you see. My baby girl graduated high school this year but oddly I was not watching Oz or Sopranos in the living room because of her what seemed like yesterday.Comment
