I finished that yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Is it something that they'll be continuing or is it just a set up for "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"? I think that's what I read somewhere.

"My List" just keeps growing. It's gotten to the point where I started watching Netflix on the treadmill, as opposed to listening to podcasts, so I can try to start burning it down.

Good question Nole,. I would think they would continue it but I haven't seen any info on that.

Even if they don’t, I could never say that any of those 8 hours was a waste of my time. Very enjoyable!

I read there is a buzz to do a season 4, sure hope that can happen.

Thanks for the review, I immediately I knew this show is right up my alley catching the first half of the show.

It looks authentic as hell and I see they are using real life mma fighters in the show which is awesome.

Respect to Nick Jonas and Matt Lauria putting in work to look like legit mma fighters too

Has anybody watched the American Barbecue Showdown?

I saw it pop last night and added it immediately to my list, but haven't watched it yet.

There’s a documentary called the social dilemma that will make you never want to use social media again.

I have an app that notifies you on what bills are coming up and how your reps/senators voted that I didn’t pay that much attention to before. After seeing the guy in the documentary talk about how Facebook sends the email with notifications of you being tagged in the photo without showing you the photo, the app sent me an email saying my senators voted for something with another link in the email to actually see the vote. I never would’ve thought anything of it before but now everything seems diabolical lol. Also didn’t know how to feel when with 15 minutes left as I was watching it, Netflix sent me an email saying we think you might like this...if the message of the doc is to avoid watching stuff recommended by tech companies but the doc is recommended by tech companies, what do I do with that? Just seemed ironic.

first of all, I absolutely loved the season 1 finale, LOVED it, it seemed to be setting up for another season, but I was wondering the same thing, if it was based on the old movie I figured it was a standalone season, but damn...

As a family we watched the Social Dilemma.

                            Extremely eye opening.

Other than this community.......I have disconnected from Facebook and Twitter (well I only used Twitter to upload photos for franchise stories....to be honest. I hate Twitter with a passion).

What's good to watch on Netflix

I watched it the other night. It is very informative to people who don’t understand the model of email marketing, social media marketing, how things like online ads work, etc. I will admit even knowing most of this, you don’t quite connect the dots until it’s laid out in a big picture view like the docu-drama does, and same goes for knowing the ways you’re being led and still falling for them at times. It’s fascinating, in both good and bad ways. I feel like we could have a whole thread on the concept of technology and how it affects our past, present, and future.

As a parent, it is my number one concern outside of usual parenting concerns. I’m glad they touched on the fact that there’s always a new thing for each generation, but the new things for the newest generations are beyond the leaps of the past. A new unique challenge, harder to navigate than obstacles of the past. That’s just how I look at it, for this piece of the conundrum.
