Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
Just using it as an example of a universally regarded great show. To your point...SpoilerThe fantastic season four finale "Face Off" was written in a way that could have served as a SERIES finale just in case-the ratings through four seasons did not guarantee a renewal. Hence the famous Walter White quote to end season 4.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
You like it or you don't. One episode of Wednesday was it for me. The popularity of a show has nothing to do with how I feel about it or how long I'll stay onboard. Having said that the reviews of a movie or show can get my foot in the door. That's the reason I give Succession a fairly lengthy tryout but was ultimately disappointed.
Gave it a few episodes but it just couldn’t hold my interest very long.#RespectTheCultureComment

Yep. He played one of the greatest athletes of all time who was quite a bit taller than him dead even maybe even better. Those great players from the 60's and 70's would be great today. Could some of the stars from today play when defense was a thing? Some of them would be crying like a biatch.Comment

I liked most of the Saul stuff and didn’t care at all for much of the Gus/Mike/Nacho stuff. Every time it shifted focus away from Saul and Kim I wished they had made 2 prequels and I could just watch the Saul stuff and ignore the other one.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

VPN to another country and you’ll get it. They aired internationally on Netflix the next day after the premiere

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
Wouldn't it have been awesome to witness those Russell-Chamberlain battles, all those years! My teen/early 20s years were about the Bird-Magic battles which were between a point guard and forward, so you didn't see them locked up as opposed to these two mammoth centers clashing on both ends of the floor. Neither of these two were "stand on the block" posts, they each were athletic, handled the ball, and involved in the running game. I could almost guarantee that we will never see such a rivalry again in that way.
Being 71 yo I saw all of that. Unfortunately not much in the way of TV like today.Last edited by lowpaiddonkey10; 03-11-2023, 09:04 AM.Comment

Looking forward to that also but I think the ending of BCS was inane. We don't agree on that I know.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms
I watched ep 5 last night. The first 4 episodes were good enough, but this second half started out, uh, astray. I'm in it too far now, but I feel it may be a grind to finish the season.Comment
