Absolutely loving The Penguin after four episodes. Every new episode is better than the one before it. Great characters, and of great acting by Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti.

Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 - Netflix

Loved the first season. It was a slow build, but it remained interesting through. A pseudo suspense monster story set in WW2 Japanese occupied Korea with references to Unit 731. It was a really neat concept with interesting characters, and it just kept me vested the whole way through. And that ending.
        9/10

        The second season...
I didn't see any trailer for it. I just saw that there was a new season and clicked play.
Expectations were certainly subverted within the first 2 minutes. The season was maybe a 6/10. I enjoyed aspects of it, but it had a lot of problems. It needed about an extra 3 or 4 episodes to really explore the characters and explain some of the motivations and relationships. Also, I will forever be annoyed when stories build up a character to be some kind of bad*** and then have them saved or outclassed by a different character (usually the romantic interest). Very reminiscent of Alchemy of Souls (which coincidentally had the same male lead) which I eventually just had to stop watching.

Each of the new seasons of From, Lincoln Lawyer, and The Old Man have been solid.

This show is excellent. Great characters and Ferrell is just killing it

Have you seen the trailer of the upcoming miniseries "Senna" which will stream on November 29 only on Netflix? I think it will be a good one.

Still one more episode to go and its been great, one of the best DC properties in a long time. I think its way better than the Batman movie. Cristin Milioti Sofia Falcone has been fantastic and of Collin Farrell is unbelievable in this role. Gotta check it out if you haven't

We just completed Netflix's Territory. We enjoyed the story and characters, an Australian Yellowstone.

Interesting hearing Anna Torv (Fringe, Mindhunter)), Michael Dorman (Joe Pickett), and Robert Taylor (Longmire) in Australian. Torv and Taylor are from Australia, Dorman, New Zealand.

Man The Penguin is heavy. Literally and figuratively lol. I don't think I felt darkness like this in Gotham ever and that's impressive with all the great Batman stories over the years. No other words, its brilliant.

This one season is up there as one of the best Batman universe/DC stories ever. I can't wait with other spinoffs they come up with. This will be tough to top, they set the bar high.

I will say this for sure, this bar none the greatest version of Penguin EVER. They take you on a roller coaster ride on how you feel about him.

Absolute fail to the screenwriters though. The language was just pathetic, especially the finale.

I'm not cognizant of a specific moment you're referring to (the time went by in a blur), unless you're referring to the scene in Monroe's, in which case I'd agree.

The episode itself wasn't my favorite, but it sure was a finale.

It's a masterpiece for the DC universe.

I happen to love The Batman and felt we finally got the dark, gritty, grimey Gotham City we never seemed to have gotten ever save for Rock Steady's Batman trilogy in the video game medium.

The Batman to me was the closet thing we ever got to the The Dark Knight and his plight. A true detective story.

The Penguin to me exemplifies that in rousing fashion and keeps Reeves vision of his Batman universe grounded in a lot more reality vs fantasy.

I love that. I am looking forward to 2026 when The Batman 2 hits theaters in November (that is the planned release). Filming begins early 2025. And I am sure The Penguin will be an important part of the 2nd of the planned 3 films in this new Dark Knight trilogy.

                              This was just fantastic.

From season 3 has been great. Still no clue what is happening but it's been a good story. Hopefully the last 2 episodes answer some questions based on titles and it gets a season 4.

Going to start the Penguin this week.
