32 gigs is a hell of a lot for gaming. And keep in mind that amount of RAM in a case is going to give off a hell of a lot of heat. So make sure you have enough case fans.

well I do a lot of video editing, and huge banners on Photoshop the 32 gb's are much needed. As far as for heat, I'm going with liquid cooling so it shouldn't be so badComment

If you going to do liquid cooling, make sure you buy reference video cards then and a good quality pump.Comment

Re: Official "I want to build a New PC!" Thread
Well after years of not having a quality machine, I have decided that I am going to jump back in. I don't know what is too good anymore so I will def. need some Help!
I am giving myself a budget of $2500 and I would really like to get the best bang for my buck. I will be playing games like Diablo and Sim City, and I like machines that last for a few years. So any thoughts or Tips will be greatly appreciated!!My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

After doing some comparing parts, it is actually going to be cheaper if I buy from Cyberpower.com. The build quality will obviously not be good but I know enough to fix any screw ups on their part. I know a few people who have bought from these discount boutique computer websites and it is a mixed bag. My one friend bought a Cyberpower pc Years ago and it was not wired great from the start but we managed to fix it in a few hours and it lasted for years. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

I am not going to lie, it's been a few years since I have worked on the guts of a PC( Macs are awesome). I am going to hold off a week or two so I can get a expert opinion from a friend. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Would getting a SSD, backing up my current HD and restoring it to the SSD (Through Windows, I've seen sites talk about this) really improve normal performance on a desktop? Anyone do this? Not too crazy?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Official "I want to build a New PC!" Thread
SSD performance is very noticeable on bootup and load times. They still cost a ton if you are looking to replace an HDD so it is hard to justify. I run both in my desktop, a 64gb SSD for my OS and frequently used programs and a 1TB HDD for mass storage of music, movies, pictures, and random files.Comment

Thanks guys...maybe I'll do it on a slightly older laptop (Dell XPS high end when I got it) instead to see if that can be a better backup PC...
Just wondering cause sometimes I'll see great deals on SSD and want to see if it'd ever make sense for me.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
