To echo what Beantown said, the "rule" here has always been to spoiler tag anything that is not directly related to what's already been viewed on an aired episode.

So, if there's a comic: you spoiler tag it. If it's about a preview: spoiler tag. If it's something about how many episodes a character will be in: spoiler tag.

This is not to be confused with assumptions or guesses. If you think (as in you haven't read it elsewhere) something is going to happen, you don't need to spoiler tag it.

I don't know why guys spoiler tag things that happened in an aired episode. It's not necessary and it causes too much confusion.

^ i thought it was decided in this thread to spoiler tag assumptions?

anyways, loooooove the way they writers are portraying Dexter losing it. LOVE IT. because we all still think he's the hero...

FANTASTIC scene when Dex was talking with Harry.

Liked the kill of Hannah's father too because it felt completely natural, very basic Dexter.

Well Quinn is a dead man after what happened in the latest episode.

I think this has been a fantastic season so far. Can't wait for the last two episodes!

          Agree completely with everything.
Such a great episode, the last two episodes should be insane, and not even the fact there is no real BAD GUY he is after.

I wish I could put my thoughts about this episode (and I guess this season) into words but right now all I can come up with is:

            Wowowowowowowowow.

There's a downward spiral goin on, and I'm loving it. Completely erases the bad taste of the last few seasons.

                    Re: Dexter (Season 7)

I love how the beginning of the episode started off with Dexter thinking "The thought that an actual person could do this is too awful, so our imaginations create a way to make it easier to take" in reference to those two witnesses saying The Phantom seemed like a monster or an alien, and then by the end of the episode we have Dexter finally accepting that there is no Dark Passenger.

I also like how Hannah is both the best and worst thing to happen to Dexter. On one hand, he's finally found someone he truly loves and feels for. But on the other hand, she's the reason behind him ridding himself of The Dark Passenger, which is now leading to him pretty much embracing the serial killer side of himself. And now I think it's going to get worse from here with him killing that Arlene girl who witnessed Hannah poison someone to further protect her.

To me it seems like all signs are pointing to this season ending with Dexter taking -- to steal a wrestling term here -- a major heel turn, which seems odd because then how do we as fans/viewers accept him heading into the final season?

Either way I think we're in store for some really crazy **** happening these final two episodes and I can't wait. I almost don't want this season to end.

EDIT: Did anyone else notice the similarity of having Isaak and Clint/Hannah's father speaking their final words on Dexter's boat? Except one says "Perhaps there's still hope for you yet, Dexter Morgan" and the other says "You've got the devil inside you, boy!" (Dexter's response to that was creepily awesome). It's really almost a snapshot of Dexter's character in a way with there being the lightness and the human side but the darkness and serial killer in him always lingering there below.

All I know is, the final season will either see Dexter dead, caught or a ****ing fade to black. It seems like Dexter has made his choice, embraced WHO HE IS, and the Code is slowly going to fall by the wayside.

Or I could be completely wrong. Either way, this season has been awesome. Every serialized show needs an end date so that we get nothing but quality. Season 7 reminds me of the 2nd-half of season 3 of LOST, the moment they knew the finish line, it was just pure quality from then on.

If the photographer was the one I'm thinking of, then he was more a mistake than anything. Dexter thought he was a killer (and a lot of the evidence pointed to him being a killer) but it was actually his assistant who ended up being the one killing people.

                                Fade to black, lol.

IMO it has to end with him caught or dead. It just doesn't seem reasonable to have some type of happily ever after ending.

I could totally see them copping out though and having the end be where Dexter is in an entirely different country and in hiding. I hope that doesn't end up being the case.
