Not the strongest start on RT with a 71% score. It's still early, but it doesn't look like it will get a score like Spider-Man 2 (which got a 94%).

Re: The Amazing Spiderman Sequel (201?)
I'm a little worried about that, but at the same time I loved the first movie and seen it probably 2-3 times in theaters regardless of reviews. Also just seeing the few clips I have from the previews, this looks like the most authentic Spider-Man movie ever. It literally feels like pages from the comics have come to life, so I'm still hopeful it'll be good.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. Re: The Amazing Spiderman Sequel (201?)
These spiderman movies are the closest things we got to the comics. I love the way garfield plays him and that there makes me love these movies more than the first 3.

Re: The Amazing Spiderman Sequel (201?)
I love the reboot, it feels like an actual Spider-Man movie. Toby/Dunst didn't do it for me in the first three. I wonder if making TASM a saga(6-8 films) ever crossed their minds. Or any Superhero movie at that. With so many characters and stories in the comics it seems like the way to go instead of possibly cramming things in three 2 hour movies. I'm also loving Gwen Stacy as the love interestComment

Marc Webb is gone after the third movie though.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

I didn't know that. 6 movies in the Spider-man universe is gonna be cool. Who's taking over after Webb leaves?Comment

Re: The Amazing Spiderman Sequel (201?)
They're definitely taking notes from Marvel though and trying to build a "cinematic universe" the way they have. On one hand it's good, but on the other hand it further decreases the chances we ever see any kind of Spider-Man crossover with the Avengers or anything like that.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. That hasn't been decided yet.

Re: The Amazing Spiderman Sequel (201?)
About to get into the 3d movie. 2.5 hours should be enough for all the bad guys.
My girlfriend just told me the first 4d theater is opening today too in Manila, hopefully I can check that while I'm here.
Anyone ever been to a 4d theater?

By the way, the RT score is at 61% now. That's kind of a big ouch. I'm sure I'll more than enjoy the film, but I wonder... what happened here that's not pleasing critics?Last edited by Blzer; 05-01-2014, 02:16 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Amazing Spiderman Sequel (201?)
I dunno what critics are complaining about because it was awesome, or should I say amazing? That's how you do spidey.
Best spider man movie no doubt for me and I'll have to wait for the buzz to run out before I say favorite comic book movie but it's a candidate for me.
The web action was ridiculous. Just him slinging around New York alone is worth seeing it in 3rd but the fight scenes, damn. Action was on point and I really like the story too.
I'm just happy to see comic book movies become this good. Keep em coming.
Also no end credit scene other than a 2 minute scene of the new X-men. This has to be a favor of some sort between fox and Sony because there is no way they are gonna collab and make a spidey, X-men movie.
