Best Buy has a nice 3DS Luigi's Mansion bundle for $149. I really want a 3DS XL but might jump on this if I can get it online.

I figured we would have seen some big sales on plasma TVs.

They almost always do, but they usually do them as part of lightning deals....which sucks if you don't have internet access wherever you are.

IIRC, the doorbuster tvs were not online last year. The good news is they had plenty in store and some of them have a in stock guarantee. Even if it sells out in the first hour you can go ahead and purchase it and get it later.

Just get ready to set your alarm if you really want it. I woke up around 3-4 a.m. to get a pretty good deal on a blu ray from Amazon last year.

Lightning deals on blu rays suck though if you don't have prime. For in demand stuff you literally have a few minutes to select it and checkout. No time for finding fillers to get up to free shipping.

Shipping is now $4 if you checkout with less than $35.

I guess you could already have your fillers in your cart while you wait for the lightning deal to start.

This is where my stock pile of .edu addresses and 6 month trials comes in handy.

Not sure about Walmart, but Target has a 40" Westinghouse for $199.

TV shows and new release kid's movies don't last that long.

Surprisingly, king and queen sheet sets were the first thing to sell out at my local Walmart. Towels and wash cloths also fell off the pallets.

Ah so Black Friday aint really a one sided shopping spree as I guessed. Makes for more game planning.

If going to Walmart, be prepared for mass chaos. I believe you can go online a few days prior to BF and print out the map of your Walmart's layout for all the doorbusters. I highly suggest you do that because there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the locations and NOBODY working that day knows where anything is. They each have separate lines.

Because of the staggered event start times if you want multiple doorbusters at Walmart your best bet is to have a few people.

Best Buy had all of their Blu-ray and DVD Black Friday sales out on the floor a day early!

                                Got these Blu-rays.

                                42 for $7.99

All 5 seasons of Breaking Bad for $11.99 each!! Now I can finally watch the show I've heard nothing but great things about.
