Picked up World War Z Blu-ray for my daughter 7.99 and a previous gen Kindle Fire HD for 99.99.

Today I got a LG Sound bar with sub from Best Buy and Now You See Me, Pain & Gain, The Conjuring and Pitch Perfect blu rays from Amazon.

Internet where I'm at is really bad (working off a wireless card because that's an upgrade over the speed of my in-law's connection), so wasn't able to get much, did manage to snag The Last of Us and the new Batman game for a total of $65, so I'm happy about that.

Also picked up some movies for the wife that she wanted (all of this was from Best Buy), and spent another $30 there. So, under $100 (barely) and was able to get pretty much everything I wanted to.

My big splurge was the Zelda 3DS XL bundle I bought in-store at Best Buy on Weds. Not a Black Friday deal, but still a good deal.

I got every Harry Potter movie that I didn't own for $2 each and How I Met Your Mother Season 8 for $10. Simply awesome.

Went out late this evening with my wife on a whim. We stopped by Target and Best Buy and to my surprise, a lot of the doorbuster tvs were still available. Ended up buying the 55" LG from Best Buy for $499. I needed a tv for the man cave, so that should fit the bill, nicely. Now, I just need a PS4 to pair it with.

So today from Best Buy online I bought an electric guitar, Rocksmith 2014 Edition, The Conjuring, Pacific Rim 3D, The Hangover: Part III, a wireless mouse, and four PlayStation Plus cards.

After Reward Zone certificates were applied, I spent $54.69 in total after taxes. Not a bad job... and it's not even Friday here yet!

Dropped $525 on a Playstation 4, NBA 2K14, and a year of Playstation Plus. Pretty good night, totally worth standing out in the cold. It's not often you get a new console at retail price this close to release when it's not the actual release night. I'm gonna go play some 2K14 now!

I'm not hampering your awesome purchase, but did you get a deal on this at all? Or is it just that you actually were able to get a PS4 that made the shopping all that it was?

I only ask because I'm adding it up in my head and that's about what I'd expect the price to be regularly. Was anything reduced in price?

Doubt you can get a newly released system at a discount. He's just happy he only had to pay retail because he found one in store..instead of having to pay extra on Ebay etc...

I got mine from GameStop so there was no deal on 2K14 and the PS4, but I did get PS+ for $30 as opposed to $50. GameStop has great deals on all of the "current" gen stuff, but everything that's next gen is still the same unfortunately.
