Got my ticket to see this beauty tomorrow night. Might go see it in 3D Friday, and kick back at Alamo Drafthouse on Saturday.

I'm just not excited about this movie for some reason. This is the 3rd reboot for a series didn't hasn't needed reboots.

Yea Spider-Man 3 was bad and The amazing Spider-Man 2 was bland. But both has good movies and starting points.

The reviews definitely make this one seem interesting but I just can't get excited about it. In every movie there's a scene of Peter holding something together that's going to be torn apart. Not even the trailers can make this one seem different from the others.

I'll wait for it on blu ray.

We've had 6 different Batmen, but everyone freaks out on the 3rd Spider-Man.

It's a completely different story. They aren't showing Uncle Ben die. This is a character that's part of a bigger, grander universe, not just his own. It's made by Marvel Studios, not Sony. It's got villains we haven't seen on the big screen before.

There's numerous more reasons to see this in theaters than to not.

Well, TC9 and I dont agree about much but Im in agreement with his points. The Marissa Tomei as Aunt May leaves a bit to wonder in the choice, but can live with it. Just makes me wonder how many actors are pushing their agents to get them in a Marvel role... any role.

I have no problem with "Aunt Toe-May" for obvious reasons and the ones Triple Crown just described:

Don't see the problem with Aunt May. This is in line with updating her in the ultimate line of comics to no longer be the completely useless and frail old lady she originally was. Marisa is just the right age for the updated part and good for a modern take on the character.

I also think the age makes sense for Aunt May. I always thought she was a grandma growing up.

                        The movie was Spectacular.

Seriously. Go see it. Two stingers, the one after the credits is the best stinger ever.
