Nope, Spider-Man is fully incorporated. He's gonna be in Infinity War, and have at least 2 more solo movies (but I've heard 4 more).

There ARE characters that Marvel didn't get the rights to, such as Venom and Carnage.

Welp, that's news to me. I knew he would be in Infinity War but I thought that was it.

Because Sony sucks. They are making a Venom movie, with Carnage being the antagonist. And there is a very, very, very, very, very small chance that Tom Holland could be in it.

              Smh.

Am I the only one that instantly wanted to see more Iron Man or watch an Iron Man movie immediately after? There was a scene I had to remind myself that it was a Spider-Man movie and he had to handle his own ****. That didn't make me like the movie less but kinda like King alluded to, I can't see RDJ being topped as Iron Man. Absolutely perfect fit.

Big reveal coming up today at Disney's D23 event. There is a massive life sized statue of Thanos on display and behind him appear to be four more statues covered that have yet to be revealed so speculation is running rampant on just what it might be. Lots of guesses suggesting we'll get our first look at the Black Order. Other guesses suggesting Marvel may be making the announcement of the year when the tarp comes off. We'll see what happens. Should be good either way.

Are you positive!? I could of sowrn Sony and Marvel have a timed relationship with Spiderman. He'll be in the Avengers movie and his second solo movie might be another collaboration, but beyond that the remainder of the movies go back to Sony being the exclusive production company. I can be wrong and deals night have happened beyond the initial agreement, but that was the last I heard on Spider-Man/Marvel (Disney).

On topic, I saw the movie last night with my buddies and man, I'm not sure where I stand with this. Without a doubt, as a movie it was well done. Leagues and leagues better than Spiderman 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But maybe it's just me being tired of the change character every couple of years, Holland did nothing for me. His Peter Parker was literally Robert Downey Jr as Iron man without being a billionaire.

I've grown so tired of the iron man character. Downey has done an excellent job, but his sarcastic deamnor in the face of everything has gotten tiring over the last 6 movies. And it's like Sony decided to make Spiderman in the exact same manner as Downey's Iron man.

I know Peter is known for being fast talking and sarcastic himself, but it was never to this extend. I grew up watching Spiderman on Fox, and Tobey McGuire embodied that version of Spiderman so well. He could be serious when needed, threw out the quick insults, he had a range, Holland I know is much younger and his character is supposed to be immature but I'm so over it. I know he's just getting used to his powers and just got a suit from Stark, but after watching 5 Spider-Man movies where he's ripping through the sky and being acrobatic, this felt like a let down In that regard. The boat scene was the only scene that somewhat showed his abilities off.

Keaton was the Vulture was perfect though. He played the role very well. And it was awesome hearing the names of other Spider-Man villains that have never hit the big screen before.

Overall it was a good movie, but I'm personally just not invested in this character yet. Maybe he might wow and surprise me in Infinity War and his 2nd stand alone movie.

Spoken like someone who has read no or very few comics. Downey and Holland are both almost perfect portrayals of the comics.

Don't get me wrong, I understand both those characters are very sarcastic throwing out one liners all the time, but it doesn't comsitiute their entire character. Both Tony and Peter are characters with range. McGuire and Garfield both were able to deliver a sassy Peter Parker who could still be taken seriously. Holland so far hasn't, I don't think it's him personally as the actor but more of how his character is written.

Same with Stark even in the old cartoon and comics, he could be a dick, but his entire character wasn't soley based around his sarcasm. The movies have donea good job of showing him battle his personal demons but we haven't seen his character truly grow. Civil war was the closest we got to a mature Stark. Once again, I'm not dogging on Downey, he plays the role very well, I'm just tired of this style of character. A character who doesn't take any thing serious. I just feel like there's a better balance that could be given here.

Probably has a lot to do with the fact that both McGuire and Garfield were nearly 30 the first time they played high school student Spider-Man.

Idk if it's even that. Idk how Tom Holland as Spider-Man couldn't be taken serious after about the last twenty minutes of the movie. Or how RDJ couldn't be taken seriously after his heroics in the first Avengers.

Feel like his expectations are completely unrealistic or like you said, he doesn't know the characters as well as he claims.
