I think Tina Fey is overrated. Sorry Fey fans. McCarthy didn't have one fat joke in St. Vincent. She really was a very different character. Though I could see with Gyno-Ghostbusters, the fat jokes could fly.

I have no issues with the fat jokes if there are any in estrogen-busters. I mean she's going to be the put upon one who is a little pudgy and not nearly as smart as the Egon analogue.

This should be the only fat joke in the movie.

I would hope there is no Marshmellow Man, but they show homage to the original by having her fall in a vat of flour or something while wearing a similar outfit as the SPMM. No direct mention of the connection... maybe someone jokes that she looks like she should be roasted or something.

I find this funny. One, while everyone may not find McCarthy hilarious, Its hard to deny that she is the biggest female comedic actor right now. Even her **** movies like Identity Thief do over 100 million in box office (except for Tammy). So people obviously are willing to pay money to see her.

Two, Wiig is well liked too. Put the "Ghostbusters" brand behind them and release it in the summer and its going to make money. Especially if the trailer is funny.

McKinnon and Jones are funny on SNL also. I give the studio a ton of credit for trying something different instead of just rolling out three male comedians and trying to do what Murray and Akroyd did in the past,

I really don't understand all the hate for McCarthy. Can someone explain it to me? For Christmas, I got my dad Tammy and the Heat. Over my winter break, we watched Tammy and the movie was pretty funny. Also Mike and Molly is pretty funny. And she is definitely the biggest draw for actresses.

I also don't understand the hatred for her. I think she's pretty funny and seems to have a rather level head about her.

I think she's overbearing, over-exposed, and a lot of jokes play on her weight which is an easy out for comedy.

I'm more indifferent to her, but I haven't seen anything from her that I find hilarious.

This is a good way to sum up my feelings.

I'm indifferent leaning on annoyed by her.

This will be nothing more than a "Watch when it's on TV in a few years" movie for me, unless the trailers somehow blow me away.

So a female Cris Farley? I'll take it.

This is how I watch 90% of movies these days. I think it allows me to enjoy a lot more than in the past... lowered expectations.

I thought she was great in that baseball movie with Tom Hanks.
