Armistice definitely climbed to #1 on CMH's top host list.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Yes he's been in the show all season!

He's also been on TWD this season, as well. Between being on those two shows and Better Call Saul he's building quite the TV resume.

Did anyone else catch that Maeve also finally broke away from her programming like Delores? She was supposed to make it to the mainland but decided that she needed to find her "daughter" which overrode that programmed instinct.

You sure about that? Thought her programming mentioned getting off the train, which she did. The easy assumption is she was meant to after leaving. Now that it's game on in Park 1 she has plenty to do there?

On the screen where it shows her new narrative the final directive was "infiltrate mainland"( Bernard was about to say that before she interrupted him) I took that to mean she was to stay in the train it she followed her story to conclusion. Seeing the child across from her and having the coordinates of here in her hand was her catalyst to finally awaken fully IMO.

CMH spoke about this and I think you're both right.
She was following her directives the entire time, but she suddenly achieved full consciousness which finally gave her free will.

BTW, has it ever been said if the Park blocks all communication with the outside world?
The reason I'm asking is whether the humans in the park will be able to call for help.
Will Season 2 be more about them surviving with MiB gleefully leading the way?

I thought in one episode one of the techs told Maeve that if any Host tries to leave the environment they are hardwired to explode or something?

                        Yes there's c4 in their c6 cervical.

But in the finale they rebuild Maeve without the c4 in her spine.

Did we ever know why they were trying to get data out via satellite? Was that just an abstract 'save the data' red herring they sent the lesser cast members after to illustrate cracks in the leadership?'

Would be interesting if the parks aren't one entity and are fiercely competitive. That wouldn't seem to be the case with how QA coordinated at the end and the ease of going from WW to SW.

The gist I got was that the Board wanted Ford out and they were afraid that if he caught wind of it he'd destroy everything.
So they had these hosts transmitting the IP to an outside source.
