No, but he was only briefly in 3 episodes.

Hookstraten's drama during the episode was a misdirection they pinned on someone we'd never met though.

The latter is a plot device to make us understand there's more to Congress than the 5-6 people we'll see all the time imo.

Yeah, that was the classic exhale and then oh, crap moment. Such an unceremonious end for that character, almost expected them to go back to him and see it was fake blood.

With all the wide shots was really expecting something to happen to Air Force One, but that could have just been because they weren't sure where the plane would be in some of them or something since it was cgi.

Also, there's no way she didn't realize what she was on.

Finally caught up....the mole I wish we'd known before.

Jason in the woods, wow. Hoping that typing he did sent that info to someone. Not sure how the boat will go for Wells.

Still enjoying this though....like West Wing with a thriller sub plot

There has to be. Didn't they mention something about a female? The person in the interrogation room did, I believe.

I think so...has to be something huge to end the season with. They don't seem to be too scared of killing bigger names.

Feel like the VP played that necessary role and they blew that up earlier just to try and shake up the formula. Agree that there has to be another big traitor reveal.

I think the bigger surprise and potentially more exciting is at season's end the if the insurgency is actually successful in significant ways. Destroying a nuke plant or triggering some other major disaster. A partial coup or taking of territory, etc. Establishing a very different political norm (thinking of the Jericho TV show for some reason, but not so extreme).

Surely it won't be one of these new congressmen. That'd be too easy.

Hookstraten is possible, but I don't know...so much has focused on her trying to be VP, could it be that obvious?

I like that idea of something huge happening (like the capital bomb). The politics are fun, but it's tough to keep the thriller aspects going without mixing it up somehow.

Very interested as to what happens next season! Bet there's a massive cliffhanger of some sort, like "Is the First Lady a traitor" or something similar

Didn't that end up being Brooke? I might be wrong on the name - the woman who was involved with the Jason's son storyline.

Unless you mean a different interrogation scene, I'm thinking of the one with Langdon. I don't remember a woman being mentioned in the others.

Yeah, I thought it was an action packed, well done finale, but I'm not sure about this super bad guy dominating season two.

I wonder if it would have been too cliche to have not killed Jason so unceremoniously in the woods, have him found but in a coma. Then have him pass away shortly after waking up during the president's speech, with Hannah by his side and a picture of his kid. A bittersweet victory but a reminder of the sacrifices/losses.
