    Smh.

It's different, if I'm dumb enough to come into the infinity war thread before seeing infinity war then yes it's my own fault.

If I'm playing a video game and some dick has their tag as a spoiler or if I am in a GoT discussion and somebody randomly posts a spoiler about another movie there then yes I'm going too be pissed off. Not sure why that's so hard for you too comprehend?

I promise I wouldn't care lol. Knowing the ending of RDR2 (again, another example of pretty standard storytelling that had ppl acting crazy over spoilers) wouldn't really have impacted my enjoyment levels.

Chris Hemsworth has renewed his contract with Marvel Studios.

Also, 11 years ago today is when Iron Man released in theatres.

Glad to hear he renewed. Based on how Endgame concluded, I am excited to see where this takes him.

I think the year Iron Man was released was the year comic book fandom started to gain steam in the main stream. That same year we got The Dark Knight in theaters as well. Ever since then, comic book fans have had a plethora of movies, tv shows, and games to experience and I am glad I have been able to experience every bit of it.

Hey guys, appreciate all the discussion. For the sake though of those that just want to discuss the movie and not spoiler rules in general, I've bumped that thread so we can discuss that there.

Let's leave the discussion in this thread about the movie.

For future spoiler discussion, let's take it here:

If you want to quote someone from this thread that's fine, just copy and paste their post and reply in that thread instead.

          Thank you.

This movie was pretty good. Could nitpick but why? I enjoyed my time and couldnt ask for anything more.

In that final hour I caught my self saying "this cant be happening!" over and over like a giddy schoolboy again. Kudos Marvel.

This is my sentiments exactly. I could find things wrong if I wanted. Anybody could. But the way I look at it, was I entertained? If so I'm good. I'm easily entertained so I guess that's good for me.

This x1000. They nailed the final hour so well. It makes you wonder how much Feige had in mind back since IM1, or at least the first Avengers film.

I think it's fine to ask questions when you're trying to make sense of what you saw on screen. This isn't one of those movies where the complexities were a part of what made it good, they were merely a part of what detracted from the already good bits that we had on screen. People shouldn't see a film to be confused by writing (and again, not out of its intelligence but rather out of its lack of consistency).

The only reason questions I have really bug me because none of this "needed to happen" if the film agreed with its own ideas that it had. I don't think I am looking for problems, either. They took the time to explain and address how things will play out, and then they seemingly contradicted themselves. I think the issue is that while I was entertained, the writing decided to not impress me. It's just too bad, because Infinity War's writing really did impress me, specifically with Thanos. I figured with the same writers we'd get something airtight again, but it felt like anything but that.

That being said, they took their liberties to provide quite a bit of fanfare, and in a way as this feels a bit like the conclusion to the past 21 films that we had seen, I'm totally okay with it showcasing its own legacy in front of us. Almost in a way, three hours wasn't enough for this film. I just don't know how often I'll end up re-watching it is all, but I'm definitely going to see it in theaters again soon.

I totally get where you're coming from and I have no issues with that thought process. Just saying for myself, while I could question things more, I tend to just go with what I've been presented with. The main focus being on if I was entertained. I was quite entertained by Endgame. Is it as good as Infinity War? In my mind no. That movie is gold as far as I'm concerned. But I did leave feeling quite satisfied.
