How did I completely misplaced that they both played Quicksilver? I knew that's why the X-Men version wasn't in KA2, but man you forget that's ATJ in both films there. Even so, you forget they're both in KA or something.

Re: Avengers: End Game
Finally saw the movie (one of positives of 2 day finals break).
Going into movie, I tried my best to avoid spoilers and minus the 2 big moments (one near the middle, other near end), I did good job having it kept unspoiled. Although the spiderman trailer which keeps airing during NBA finals did spoil stuff, although it was one I fully expected.
Now for spoilers.
Spoiler
So like I said, i went into this movie knowing Nat and Tony died. Tony I expected completely. Him not dying I'd have been more surprised by.
So much to take in from the movie. Seemed so random they'd just go and kill Thanos so easily in the present. Weird thing, at that moment I didn't see him as the villain. Just some guy living out his life watching the sunset (after killing literally have the galaxy).
The time travel parts of the movie were so cool. Really made the 10 year arc come full circle getting to see people go back and relive some old moments in a way. Cap especially, going back to NY, being in the exact same elevator with all those Shield Hydra guys and just being like "hail hydra" to gain trust lol. Too bad we couldnt have gotten a Coulson cameo. I know he died before that, but would've been nice.
I knew Romanov would die. Although I thought maybe it was one of those fake spoilers you see idiots online try to randomly say to trick you. Should've been Clint. I never really liked him as much in all these movies, but I guess they went with the sadder death.
That moment near the end where those portals open and all the dusted characters return, that was such a cool moment. The moment you knew big stuff was going down.
I knew it was coming, but still sad seeing Tony die. They just had to make it extra sad again with Parker being like "Mr.Stark, we won! We won.". I wonder if we ever will get him in a future movie in some way.
I wasn't expecting the ending they had where Cap returns as an old man, getting to live out his life. And Thor joins the "Asguardians of the Galaxy?". Is this actually gonna be a thing? I hope so, would be so fun to see.
I honestly forgot about Danvers and Fury by the end, especially Fury. Once they appeared I was like "o ya,they're here too".
And that funeral scene just getting everyone there for Tony, another great moment to end this arc.

Re: Avengers: End Game
Regarding the one spoiler:
SpoilerIf you think about it, Natasha giving up her life really shows how far she came from her programming and being used solely as a tool. In essence, it seems like sacrificing herself showed her ability to regain her humanity.Comment

Re: Avengers: End Game
By now, everyone has heard that Endgame is getting re-released in theatres with 7 minutes of extra footage at the end.
Realistically, the real reason is of course to beat Avatar. But what is the new footage?
The two most likely things I've seen are either a Stan Lee tribute, or a recap of the entire Infinity Saga from Luis.
The coolest idea I've seen, and probably least likely, is turning the four hammer strikes at the very end into Doctor Doom working on his mask, officially introducing the Fantastic Four to the MCU.Boston Red Sox

Re: Avengers: End Game
Needless bump.
So I don't know if this was intended, but I was perusing Best Buy and saw an Avengers steelbook cover, and somehow it hit me there... I just realized that of the original six, only three remain (in Bruce, Thor, and Clint).
That's obvious enough in and of itself, but that follows alongside Thanos' halving philosophy, "bringing balance to the universe."Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Avengers: End Game
Avatar may have done it as an IMAX 3D re-release or as part of its Oscar bid or something, not sure.
