He's out there with his bow somewhere. Tyrion promised him High Garden, a promise that he likely can't fulfill if word gets back to Dany that he freed Jamie. You know how GoT likes to kill people the same way that they've killed others? So Tyrion better figure out a way to make that happen or keep his head on a swivel cause Bronn's coming...

With Cersei dead, what's Bronn's motivation? Cersei can't give Bronn anything at this point. Tyrion can't pay double to stay alive since no one is "paying single". I guess he'd have to hold up his bargain from their meeting in Winterfell? That all seems trivial as hell at this point anyway lol.

His motivation (as always) is gold and a castle. Bronn hedged his bets in the Battle of Kings Landing because all he had to do was remain on the sidelines and get a castle from which ever side won. It does seem trivial but the new Queen's hand owes him as castle and High Garden is wide open so he's going to want it.

Is it enough to make him kill Tyrion over? I personally don't see it. I mean, they were once friends and what would Bronn gain by killing Tyrion even if he can't deliver High Garden? Bronn is SOL either way so why kill him? Revenge, I guess?

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 8 (Final season)

Part of what the issue is with this season is that it's the last season.

What made this show so dope in previous seasons, at least for me anyway, was the forshadowing and how the characters and world connected or would connect in the future. Like that Bronn interaction would FOR SURE have come up again in this season or in a future season. Which would have played a role in advancing another storyline or branching off creating a new one.

There was also the introduction of new characters and new places. Characters you think are going to be important dieing. Characters you think aren't important becoming big parts of the story.

With it being the last season, there is no real point to doing that anymore. Those elements are missing and they were a big part of what made me like the show so much.

With that being said, I've still enjoyed this season. Obviously not as much as some of the previous ones. But that doesn't make this season "terrible" for me at all.

Acting is still top notch (Emilia has been...on fire &#129325. The directing and cinematography have been EXCELLENT. The score and it's use has been incredible. And the fight scenes have been dope.

          I have been entertained 🤷🏾*♂️

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 8 (Final season)

For me it's like... How did this happen? There is going to be a book on this in 5 years and I need to read it. I don't want to believe all of the people saying they were just done and ready to move on to Star Wars but... I just don't get it. The biggest show in the world, you had infinite time, a huge budget, I just have so many questions.

I never read the books but my friend who got me into the show loves them and the fan theories of what was going on were the thing that got me hooked more than the actual show (Bran warging the Mad King, Bran being the Night King) so I just wanted to see if those would come true, I think he told me who Jon Snow would end up being after I saw like season 3 so I've just been waiting to see how they get there. I'm just surprised this is how it will end. Interesting to see the legacy going forward. The visuals are the best in TV history for sure, I wonder how the narrative will hold up.

Dude.....that was so freaking good. Man I love the music to this series so much. I was able to go see the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience last year here in San Diego and it was so freaking amazing. If any of you ever get a chance you need to go experience this in person. Ramin Djawadi is a freaking genius man. Some of the instruments they play to get the sounds is astonishing. I can't recommend this enough.

I’d be stunned if Bronn does not kill Tyrion in the end. Tyrion has been a rather pointless character since the day he killed his father. And they didn’t draw up this Bronn has the exact crossbow storyline for nothing.

But why would he do that though?

Hes always been motivated by money. He only threatens them because of Cersei's offer.

Now she and Jamie are dead. If he decides to kill Tyrion, it would serve no purpose. If anything, it would make the most sense for him to show up to keep Tyrion ALIVE both as his "friend" and because he can get him the luxuries that he wants as the heir to casterly rock since he's now the surviving Lannister.

If Tyrion doesn't deliver on his promise to Bron.. The Lannister name doesn't mean much anymore after last episode.

The pointless character thing is just another example of the writers not living up to GRRM's genius imo. But yes I agree.

And Tyrion can't do that if he's dead. It would not serve Bronn to kill Tyrion in anyway.

On the other hand, keeping Tyrion alive to deliver on his promise would be in his best interest. And this would bring their relationship full circle.

***Bronn pops up again to Tyrions surprise***

Tyrion- Well if you are going to kill me, can we just skip the formalities and make it quick. I'm good as dead anyway. I don't think the queen will be in need of my services much longer.

Bronn- Kill you? You owe me. I'm here to make sure you deliver on your promise you little s***. Now let's go.

Bronn has let Tyrion and the Lannister’s toy with him for years. And the queen is likely to want Tyrion’s head on a pike after yet another failure as her hand, this time actual betrayal.

Bronn isn’t carrying that crossbow for no reason. He’ll plug Tyrion one time after he tries to talk himself out of trouble with his fancy words.

He was a complete fool to think he would ever EVER be given High Garden by anybody.

                                You kill me King lol

You talk extensively about how you the Dany Arc is illogical and doesn't make sense for her character. That there wasn't enough leading up to her heel turn.

But yet somehow believe Bronn killing Tyrion makes total sense. How? Lol

This entire show we've seen Bronn act in his own best self interest. He's a sellsword which Tyrion and him brought up time and time again. His only desire appears to us as money, status and women. This is reinforced when he can save his buddy Tyrion on trial, but opts to take Cercei's deal instead. He wants the sweet life above all else.

We've never seen him lose his cool or talk of revenge or seek honor and glory.

But now, after he learns that Jamie and Cersei are dead making Tyrion king Lannister and Lord of casterly rock, he's going to kill him?

Especially considering that Tyrion has been a good friend and has always been upfront about paying him for his services ("a Lannister always pays his debts" has been repeated more by Tyrion than anyone). And Bronn has never been wronged by Tyrion as far as I can remember.

So what does Bronn killing Tyrion do for him at all? He's going to go back to being broke after living the good life all these years? That would make no sense [emoji23]
