Re: New Oblivion interview
I'm glad I'm not really into these types of games, as that would be another $60 out of my pocket. I'm kinda scared to try this out, I'm afraid I'll get hooked. But I've never tried RPG's, so I dunno what I'm gonna do.PS4: aBayBates

Re: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion discussion...
I loved Morrowind and I am excited for Oblivion, I have to admit. Those of my friend's/relatives with 360's are planning on getting this as with GRAW. I'm sure I'll get plenty of time to play both games.
Like I said, I have been holding off on buying a 360 because of the launch issues it's been having and the lack of good games (not because of the PS3, I have an Xbox afterall). So if these games are good enough to break me, instead of buying a 360 later this year, I may buy one next month......maybe. Right now I'm playing FFVII on my PS2 which is keeping me busy until then.Last edited by APOC; 02-23-2006, 11:34 PM.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion discussion...
Quick question on the controls...anyone know if they're better in this one compared to Morrowind on Xbox? I just remember renting it and having a rat constantly kill me because i'd swing and miss and not be able to hit the damn thing...Still got this preordered though, i didn't have the time when i rented the last one, but i'll figure this one out no matter what, i love this type of game.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Originally posted by WTFA rat killed you? lol. I never played Morrowind... are we talking big rats? Like human size, or just a household rat?
i was in a small basement trying to steal something, and there wasn't much room to move around, so the rat would just circle me and bite my ankles to death if I remember right lolNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Well, that's good that it was a normal rat, lol. I'm really looking forward to this game, but I didn't want man sized rats ruining the experience.
I'm just hoping that the combat system is pretty good and intuitive now. Something along the lines of Splinter cell-ish, where you can do moves easily.Twitter - WTF_OS
