Re: Gamestop has 360 allocations
Originally posted by RustedWalleyeEach store has a list. Those on the list are guaranteed their 360 on launch. They will have 24 hours to pick their pre-order up. If you are not on the list you will take your chances on getting yours launch day (of course midnight release).
The Gamestop I goto I frequent quite a bit and Ive seen the list and was informed they will have 50 360s for reserves and approximately 100-150 for sale.
Where is this Gamestop located in Iowa?Comment

Originally posted by jpupWhy wouldn't they just take preorders for all of them? so they are scewing people because they were #51, 52, etc.? Doesn't seem right to me.Comment

Re: Gamestop has 360 allocations
Originally posted by SportsorDeathIt isn't really right, but it's a reality. If they still have enough to cover all the presales for people that were told would be in the first shipment, then they figure the rest were already told they would be 2nd shipment or later, so their arses are covered. The rest can be sold to walk ins, and I am sure they figure that more of those people are more likely to spend a bunch of money on games and accessories because they are caught up in the hoopla.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Originally posted by jpuppoor logic IMO. I think that someone who is preordering is more likely to buy "extras" than someone who didn't."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: just said bye to my black box gearing up for 360 now
Xbox has sold. I'm kinda sad too. When I put it up yesterday, I had no clue it would sell so freaking fast. Still have 2 weeks to go before launch...lol"Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Originally posted by abates21Haha I know, thats why I'm kinda scared of giving it up right now. Of course my productivity on other "important" things would probably skyrocket the next 2 weeks.Last edited by SoMiss2000; 11-07-2005, 01:23 PM."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: Gamestop has 360 allocations
Originally posted by jpupmore games, controllers, xbox live cards, etc. I would think that the casual gamer would just pick up a console and a game and be done until the next big game they want comes out.
This isn't always the case, but don't be surprised if that is the way that some Gamestop's/EB's are thinking.Comment
