not sure, he just said those that pre-ordered first will get theirs. This particular location is pretty obscure with low traffic and it hasn't been open that long.

Same from the EB Games in Southlake....except they are only getting 13...and they have 60 preorders.

Oh and that particular store is only going by pre-order date....so no moving up if you've paid off the system.

cool because i haven't paid nothing other than the initial deposit. I have a lot of stuff on ebay this week plus pay day is this week so i'll probably pay it off this weekend.

Just curious as to how many pre-ordered online & when. I pre-ordered from Gamestop.com (Silver Bundle) on October 8th. Everything appears to ship on or before launch day except for Oblivion which has been bumped back to 1/31/06.

With all this talk about shortages has anyone that's pre-ordered online been informed of getting there 360 in a shipment not falling on the day of the official launch?

I asked this question about 3 or 4 times in the last few days without a response. I am going to call Gamestop.com in the morning and find out what's up.

I also preordered from walmart.com and I am going to call them as well. Please post if you find out anything.

i ordered min from wal-mart online the day they started taking pre-orders. It was actually sept 1. But there ship dates on some stuff was real early like nov 4. I received an email stating




"Your order has been delayed due to a delay in our fulfillment

You got that e-mail because a computer error after the Hurricanes. They are in Mississippi and had a ton of problems. They accidently cancelled my order and I spent a couple hours on different days trying to get it straight. They told me finally that I would get my order shipped on Nov. 22 for sure. You might want to call them to check the status of your order. I had to reorder, hopefully you will not have to do the same.

Let us know what you find out.

Will do. I've only been checking the "order status" to see if any dates have changed. I figured we'd have heard something by now if the ship dates have changed.

They said we would receive an email when the ship dates were confirmed. I expect something like that this week.

Each store has a list. Those on the list are guaranteed their 360 on launch. They will have 24 hours to pick their pre-order up. If you are not on the list you will take your chances on getting yours launch day (of course midnight release).

The Gamestop I goto I frequent quite a bit and Ive seen the list and was informed they will have 50 360s for reserves and approximately 100-150 for sale.

Why wouldn't they just take preorders for all of them? so they are scewing people because they were #51, 52, etc.? Doesn't seem right to me.
