Ok, so the guy who said you needed a HD to play live was wrong. I can get the Core system and use a mem card and then I can play XBL. That's according to the info I retrieved from Xbox.com.

I'm seeing some really cheap core systems on ebay and I may go that route instead of the premium route.

All I'm saying is your selling so sell short with buying the core system. I'm not sure what your money is. It's $100 difference and that it, In my eyes $100 isn't a lot of money at all. So in the end if you get the core system and then buy everything seperate that the premium packages offers some other time, you will just be spending more money, bascily ripping you self off. I know you live in canada and The core system here in the US is $299 plus tax it would be $331, plus the memory card is $39.99 in the US, so in the end if I bought the core system plus a memory card, it would be very close to $400, I really don't want to tell you what to do, but the smart move in my mind would just to buy the premium system. Just trying to help.

My parents have the money, but they've spent a lot the past month, not to mention buying my 25 year old sister, new 400+ dollar eye glasses.
And me, I'm currently not working as It just won't fit my college schedule at all. If i ask them to get it, it would be 555 for the console, 140 for 2 games and 30 for an rf adapter for the TV as mine doesn't have the AV outlets. The only thing that interests me RIGHT NOW for the premium package is the Hard Drive. I don't plan on going on XBL till mid 06, so the headset is useless. I don't care about the DVD remote cause I rarely watch movies anymore, I don't have an HDTV TV so I don't care for the cables. I guess the wireless controller is cool, but it's not a necessity.

My ebgames just called me and told me I can pick up my 360 Monday the 21rst at 12:01 AM. I might just go to pick it up but I've got a 9:00 AM staff meeting that morning too. So I probably won't be able to really get into it till Tuesday afternoon anyway.

its a total scam as you know... report the BODY of the message and the ebay ID.. he should be erased from ebay in a day or two.
