Yeah who knows. I haven't been charged for it yet either. I did notice that DOA 4 has been delayed to 12/1/05 though. I planned on trading in that one anyways.

I am wondering if they are going to replace the games that have been delayed and with what?

Don't let the shortage get to you. There will be enough out there somewhere. Plus, you have to put your priorities first. You can get your car fixed which will still allow you to make it to work to get your money, or you could get that 360 system and walk home with it thinking that you'd never get robbed. On the real, a little patience never hurts. Usually helps.......

Just thought about this, but you know what would be scary though? Since Oblivion got delayed to 1/31/06 and they want to ship everything at the same time...what if they don't ship the 360s until then as well?

I preordered from Gamestop. The manager say she's only getting 6 units! I preordered in Aug. so there's no telling when I'm going to get my system. But it will not be on launch day. And worse of all it's fully paid for.

I took the money I had on Madden and moved it to accessories and added some cash to pay off 2 extra controllers and a play and charge kit.

After January I will be getting CHoops , Oblivion and GRAW.

FF, so if you're a Reward Zone member, does that mean that you can walk into Best Buy wednesday morning and pre-order one? Or did you need to be specially selected?

I'm a reward zone member, so I called up bestbuy and the guy told me that they are not taking pre-orders at the store, it's only for reward zone members and it's only online too. Thats what he told me.

Isn't Microsoft banking on making most (if not all) of their profit on the video games themselves and not the console? If so, wouldn't it make sense to make the company (Gamestop/EB) that sells the most games the "happiest" on launch day?

Again, how are EB's / Gamestop's numbers compared to Best Buy / Walmarts...they can't even be remotely close even regarding just game sales in general.

sure thing.

When you buy the plug and play kit, you also get one rechargeable battery with it was well.

When the battery runs low, you simply plug it in like a wired controller into a USB port, and it charges while you play.

Now, if you own more than one wireless controller, you can simply buy the battery pack ($11 i think) and use the plug and play to charge all your controllers

at least for the initial launch systems, EB/Gamestops have more demand through preorders, etc.

but over the long haul, batteries would end up costing more... and what about when you are all out of batteries and your controller goes dead?

I'd wager that Gamestop/EB outsell Wal-Mart and Bestbuy (individually). Remember the GS/EB take trade-ins and the other two don't. They have to move more game inventory than the others.

It'd be interesting to research.
