        My only hope of getting it on midnight is if my TRU decides to open up early. I highly doubt it.

            I have my bundle pre-order at TRU, but I a bestbuy reward zone member, SO I waited for the start time to try and pre-order the 360 for a freind on OS, and I got jerked bigtime. I think the bestbuy pre-order was some type of crock. I was trying from start time wich was 10am CT wich is 11am for me, and I had the budle in my cart for checkout and it would not let me check out, it kept giving me this message "WE CAN NOT CAULATE YOUR ZIP FOR SHIPPING AT THIS TIME KEEP TRYING" so thats what I did for freaking 40 minuets and I kept getting the same stupid message, until I get the message" SORRY REWARD ZONE MEMBERS BUT YOUR CHANCE TO PRE-ORDER THE XBOX 360 HAS ENDED". I'm really pissed off right now, I guess there may have been a lot of guy's on there pre-ordering too, but come on I was doing it from the start time and I could not get my item to checkout, I think this was some type of haux...

                They have 4 bundles

                The one I preordered has the premium 360, extra controller, controller charger, madden and pgr3.

                I also have one preordered at gamestop but i am not thinking i will be getting one from there on launch day.

                The way the best buy thing is working is wierd for me right now. I can click on preorder but i cant "checkout".

                    The Best Buy site is down now. Interesting. I have a bundle in my cart so we will see what happens. I got that same zip code error as the previous poster.

                        I am thinking they only allowed us to put it in the cart and not order for a reason. I am sure more info will come about.

                            I had the same problem, but I just kept trying and was eventually able to order. I kept signing out and just clicking all over the place and I was eventually able to buy it.

                                    If I don't have HD, and I am getting a Premium 360. Will I be able to hook it up? Looking at that site Vince posted earlier, it says HD cables come with the premium and that regular AV cables come with the core pack. I need those regular cables. Am I going to have to buy those seperate?

                                        nope...

                                        the cables that come with the premium system have outputs for both HD and standard TV's... you will be fine

                                            Just some more conspiracy-theory junk for people who are interested.

                                            So I spoke to my Gamestop manager - very knowledgeable and helpful guy, goes to all the conferences, etc. His store is getting 12 units on launch (I'm #37 - yikes). He said that right now 12 is all they're being told that they're getting, but that they should have all the pre-orders filled by Christmas. In order for this to happen, they'd have to get between 12 and 24 units every week after launch. He also said that a lot of people are dropping their pre-orders because now they plan on camping out at Best-Buy.

                                            Finally, in regards to the whole marketing scheme conspiracy theory, he said that he really doesn't know anything for certain, but that alot of signs point to the whole shortage on launch being an MS-created marketing scheme. He said that if it's true, it's not only because MS wants to create a frenzy for the holiday season, but because they want to keep selling strong even after Christmas is over. The disturbing thing though, is that he said what this means is that even if it is a marketing scheme, that still doesn't mean that come launch day there suddenly will be enough for everyone (or even more than expected) - just the opposite. You can't keep a frenzy going through Christmas if suddenly there's no shortage in late November. So his theory is that whether MS actually has the capacity to supply for everyone or not, they're not going to do it. If your Gamestop is supposed to get 12 units, then that's what they're getting - there aren't "suddenly" going to be more units than expected come launch day.

                                            Anyway, as I mentioned above, he said that really he doesn't know any of this for sure, but he said that a lot of signs pointed to this being the case.

                                                        Has anyone preordered from d-compute.com? I was lucky enough to find the site through yahoo and was able to purchase the premium system today. I called before I purchased the system and the guy said they are almost fully expected to be shipping it out on Nov 23rd. Not guaranteed, but I figured its as good a chance as any at this point.

                                                            My Gamestop guy said the same thing. They will be getting shipments every week. He also dropped some BS saying if you pay for it in full, you become a "VIP" customer and move ahead of everyone in line. Naturally I bought it and dropped all the cash.
